Dryer specifications use 60% to get their numbers.
As for dryers
Lack of space could always look at stacking the dryer or find a space with power they can go anywhere.
The autodose feature must be turned off if using powder.

I dont feel the need for a drier. The washing comes out only damp enough so you can easily iron the clothes. Any drier and you will find ironing difficult. Clothes dry in a very short period of time if you have a clothes line/horse (edited)
