I got one from Costco online and ordered the Meaco along with this. For the price which is similar to the Costco price. This is good value and has similar functions to the Meaco. It circulates the air, has timer, eco mode, etc. The fan speed on the highest setting is not as powerful as the Meaco but will do for average size rooms. It is a little noisy compared to the Meaco, which is excellent in this respect, especially when used in the bedroom. For the difference in price, I would pick this over the Meaco.

Helpful, thanks. Just so we're clear - and why the Meaco is 'special' - is because the OP seemingly has an AC motor vs the Meaco with a DC.

Seemingly, as I only have the watts to go off of - 50W. Whereas DC at this size in the Meaco is 36W I believe

Arrived today and it's really noisy, much louder than my £15 argos fan. I definitely couldn't sleep with it on. I think it's going back. (edited)

Smaller air circulators tend to be louder due to smaller fans having to push more air that regular fans.
That's the one thing the Meaco fans have in their favour, the fans are HUGE so don't need to spin as fast to push the same amount of air (I still wouldn't pay their prices though).

Does it do anything this doesn't (apart from make more noise and have less of a horizontal oscillation range)? -

15% off if you order with the app, 12% off if you don't.
Free delivery so the most it will cost is around £45. (edited)

That one doesn’t look to have vertical height adjustment to the same extent.
