Not that great a deal for the FPP2A2 set. Quick Google search shows CEF, SGS and Amazon have the same offering for £5 less. You can go even lower if you use the 15% off voucher currently available on eBay.

Infact, you can use the eBay voucher to get the 4th gen FPP2A3 set for a little bit more than this.

I have old M12 fuel set. I've done the house "update" with them and while they are fantastic they came up a bit short on power a few times. I also want to get a few more cordless tools eventually so had to choose wherever to keep M12 or start on 18v. Price wise, there are enough deals on M18 to bring it very close to M12 and have some reserve power.

It was between DeWalt and Milwaukee for me, ended up going with Milwaukee as this deal was cheaper than the equivalent DeWalt.

Got the same set, ridiculous bit of kit. Used the impact this afternoon to put 200mm lag bolts into pitch pine. Too easy.

Where? All I can find is a lot more expensive. And from comparison, there is not much in it. Btw, impact in this is the Gen 3.5 with the fixed collet.

I think the Toolstation Milwaukee 18v twin pack deal is better value for £180 (using 10% app discount). 3 amp batteries but I prefer them as lighter. Awesome tools

This is such an odd deal. The actual bodies aren't nearly as good as the Fuel options listed in this deal however the 3.0ah HO batteries are much better than the standard ones.

I wonder how they'd perform side by side e.g. Lower power model with HO batteries vs High power models with standard batteries. TBH I've been very tempted for this £180 twin pack but knowing they are not the fuel version it's been holding me back
