The Best streaming tablet under £200 is the Honor pad 8.
Massive 12 inch display, eight speakers, and good battery life.

Got this refurbed on eBay and it's been fantastic so far. Replaced my Samsung Tab A7 which was getting sluggish. Good screen, solid build quality, decent speakers, snappy enough, clean UI and Android 13.

    A lot for the money.

I bought the Oppo Pad Air on Saturday second hand but unused and so far so good, updated it to ColorOS 13 first thing. Screen and speakers seem to be its strongest assets. I'm mainly using it for browsing and streaming and haven't noticed any performance issues yet. Seems very solid and well built and from the front you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and a 10th gen iPad.

Does this have 6gb or 8gb ram. Not sure from the GSM Arena specs for this tablet.

Oppo have not said how long they will support it. Color OS 13 is out for this in China, but I dont think its available here. Oppo have said flagship Color OS 13 device starting this year will get 5 years support, but how long this gets support and patches is still an unknown. (edited)

There should be quite a few people out there that got this for free with the Oppo X5 deals back in December that should be able to give us a good opinion?

Snapdragon 680 is decent budget phone speed-wise. Is that good enough for a 10" tablet? You get what you paid for. Not for me thanks.

You're not going to get SD870 at this price point.

You'll find plenty of these for sale on auction sites and marketplace sites, unopened, for much less (£50+) than this, granted without the insurance and warranty etc. I assume from people selling them what they got as free gifts with phone purchases etc. I have one, it seems to be decent enough, but I've never been a tablet user really and I'm not into technology so that opinion is about the most I can give on it

Cheapest brand new on ebay that I found was £160. Think I've missed the boat on the £50+ saving. (edited)

    100% the Xiaomi.
However, on the slim chance it gets stopped by Customs you may be charged 20% VAT plus the carrier's handling fee of around £8-12.

    Got it today
speakers are nice. But the screen if you tilt it the brightness goes half. View angle is junk I have matepad 2020 witch is 3 years old already and has better brightness and the brightness is not changing if you tilt it. Also the screen is far from tbe glass. I see a big gap. The huawei the screen is the glass. I don't know if you need this info but I am just saying. I will return my one

Just seen the review of this and looks very interesting, especially if you are a current Oppo phone user...

Like how you can control your phone from the Tablet and transfer files between them seamlessly.

I would imagine this will get a minimum of two OS updates and another year of security updates, that is what I have experienced from Oppo on their lower end devices.

You're going to need to go for a higher end tablet if you want it to keep up with a MacBook. As you're already a Mac user you're a lot better off just getting an iPad.

How old this compare to my Lenovo E10 tablet? I've only ever used it for watching films while traveling.
Thinking about getting a new tablet with a stylus pen for taking notes during meetings etc, would this be capable of doing this then converting the notes to a word document for example?
