That's an i7 13th gen Evo model. 16GB Soldered LPDDR5-5200 no more, but I don't think that will be a problem very soon with that 5200MHz.

GREAT price and laptop for the price with 16GB ram, for NOW - 2023

HOWEVER, with ram NOT upgradeable, and MS Teams now - 2023 lol - with Windows 10 needling a PC with 16GB ram, I wouldn’t go for this myself.

Note - I’ve got 8 and Teams ALONE takes 2/3 ram - thanks MS for the constant updates and linking to AI for ALL office apps - fans regularly spin and very little background apps / junk bloatware on PC.

Unless you’re video editing and using teams and chrome at the same time 16gb is more than enough. I regularly use photoshop, have a bunch of tabs open on brave, and run some code at the same time and my 8GB is enough.

Fans spinning is cpu related not ram related.

TOTUM has 10% off all Windows laptops through Currys currently - 2 days remaining on that offer. It works - just used it! £629.10 is a bargain for an aluminium shell laptop of this specification. (edited)

This model has 4800mhz ram and screen is LCD not oled. Still good deal for money but I would chose model with better (oled) screen.

GREAT spot thank you. I thought THIS was OLED!

    CHEEERS MATE.

    Good one

2 in 1 - crazy 16'' tablet and a proper business laptop with 16:10 screen, fast CPU and support for Thunderbolt docks.

Lacking on resolution for a 16inch

I think yoga have known problems with Hinges and they don't help you with warranty on that

All Yoga models!??? I think you'll find it was a specific model(s), specific year

And forget the warranty, take it up with the retailer (as they have legal liability). (edited)

Anyone got a reviews of this with the HD screen?
    Sulphur.Man's avatar
This seems a like for like review. The reviewer says the screen is a 'disappointment' - a bit dim

    Hot price and decent specs!!!
Looks pretty heavy though but at least it's a 2 in 1.

I have a screen tearing Surface Pro 4 m3-6Y30 I want to replace
How many times have I used the Surface as a tablet since 2016? Probably 10 times.

I bought the previous generation at a similar price and it’s been amazing for the money. The only thing to be aware of is that it didn’t like the replacement Crucial SSD I put in it.

Make sure you use some software to remove unwanted software and unused services in Windows and that 16GB will not be a problem as NVMe SSD’s mean that swapping out to virtual memory isn’t really noticeable anymore.

Can you expand on qhy it didnt like the nvme? What does that mean exactyl?

2kg for a laptop seems like a tonne now that I’ve been using Galaxy books for a while. (edited)

Really tempted by this, was holding out for the magicbook to come back on offer, this is heavier but has separate number pad and better screen.

Got a 13 inch laptop at the mo so need a 16 inch with 2k screen like this
    volc's avatar
Is the resolution fair on this?

If this is the same model.... lenovo.com/gb/…%2F

The keyboard sounds like one of those ones with funny split enter and shift keys (see review), anyone confirm this?

I got the deal last year with very similar specifications. Think it's practically the same laptop but slightly brighter screen. 400 Vs 300 here and slightly better CPU with 1260P.

Wouldn't recommend. If you do anything intensive the CPU fan comes on and is very loud plus terrible battery life.

Recently on a course where Zoom is used and battery lasts 4 hours most and fan is on continuously. Laptop is hot and loud. Same with football manager. Maximum 4 hours battery life. If you are just watching content then might get 6 hours.

Look at reviews, huge difference in battery life at "full load" to Web browsing. Don't expect the claims.
Not sure how much difference the CPU makes. As it's Intel I presume not much difference at all.

    Battery life?

Really tempted by this. I'm rocking an ageing, though still very decent (if a little noisy when the fan kicks in) Dell Inspiron 7000 series 17" 2 in 1 with a 7th gen i7 & 16GB of RAM. I think this would be a great replacement BUT... have to ask myself, with what I use it for, do I really need to replace a perfectly OK laptop running Windows 10 that can still do everything (pretty much) that I need of it?

We are so tempted to splurge on the latest shiny thing! Me included...
