Stated capacity is false, as in many Chinese unbranded ones. It can take less charge than my 20000mAh Anker one. After some 45 days battery has swollen making unit useless. Save your money and buy well known brand one.

I hate things being banned, but these make me wish there was a way to keep these "deals" off the site.

Something worth thinking about but a 30000mAh power bank will be over 100Wh and may get confiscated on some flights.

You are quite right. There is a formula to calculate, but in general, what is over 26,800 mah is not for the airplane.
In this case, 30,000 mah x 3.7v/1,000= 111Wh which is above the limit on a flight. 26.8k mah is 99Wh. (edited)

At 400grams there is no way this is 3000mah. A 360g power bank I tested (these are all 'most likely' made in the same factory but with different vendor markings and case design) that stated 2500mah were under 2000mah so I'd say this one is a touch over 2000.

30k not 3k. And yes, due to conversion rate 3.7v to 5v, energy efficiency rate, depending of the environment where you use it and also depending on the cable, most power banks have about 40% less capacity in reality. 400g is normal for 30k.

    In this case 30,000 mah x 3.7v/5v = 22,200mah.
The average efficiency rate for a power bank is 85%. The rubbish ones closer to 70%.
If we assume this is 85%, the Real capacity for this power bank is:
    3.7 x 30,000 x 0.85/5 = 18,870 mah
Add a bit more loss related to the cable you use, and a 30k decent power bank gets you about 18k mah real capacity, which is 40% less than the advertised capacity. A rubbish power bank will be 50% or less real capacity. (edited)

Better to pick up an Iniu 45w 20kma power bank from Amazon for 27. I also snagged a 65w 25kma iniu last week for 30.

    I think the 22.5W you always see is part of the QC standard, 9V @ 2.5A (I believe) that’s why it’s 22.5 not 25.
