Take it from someone who’s used all types of these , this is not worth it even for a tenner, it states it’s only up to a 1.2 diesel or 1.5 petrol indicates it’s only going to be about 3/400 peaks starting amps. Even a small noco will outperform this - just go for a well reviewed lithium ion one , I’ve had good experiences with noco but there’s are good cheaper alternatives on the market … don’t waste your time with this or be deceived by the RAC branding (edited)

Could you recommend a cheaper one please?

Ah, an old school starter pack. None of this "fits in your pocket" nonsense. Good old weightlifting practice!

Much more what us old timers recognise

These are not good. Slow charge and heavy. Much better and cheaper options available + much more compact and powerful

Sort of. None of them can compare to the one I've got. They just can't sustain the output for long.
Mine is basically 2 big 12v batteries in parallel or series.

Also unless you keep them charged regularly they will be flat when you need to use them. Just buy some jump leads and chuck them in the car to help others or find another car to help you. I wasted £50 on one of these.

    Try this one = halfords.com/mot…tml
Works a treat and i've actually used it in anger. Just make sure you charge it every few weeks.
Apologies but I don't get to see any deals.

I have that very one. Have used it several times on other cars and has worked well. Will not work on a completely flat battery though.

Rely on this and you'll soon be calling on the real RAC's services. The only connection between this and the RAC is the rake off they get for use of their brand name to make Chinese tat look credible. Clearly they don't test or approve the stuff they allow their name to be associated with; AA same.
