sorted byWas looking for rechargeable AA as our Tado Smart thermostats require 2 each, and we have 9 in total. We will work our way through the (18) easily, especially heavy use in the winter.
I’m sure we will have use for the other 6 somewhere in the house.

Rechargeable batteries are 1.2v instead of 1.5v and their discharge curve is different, so the TRVs can't get enough "juice" to run and they empty within days.
I've used good quality alkaline batteries instead and they last more than a season.
