Saw these in the Poole Dolphin centre store, they had 4 in stock. I didn't buy one as I already have the same charger, I think I paid about £25 or so from Amazon a few months ago

    am I right in thinking these wont charge a dead battery but merely ok to top up

    A totally dead battery can not be revived but if it’s simply drain this will recharge it
    iv literally used mine today on my bike - sat in the garage unused for a few weeks and the power had dropped a little
    will also do a trickle charge
