Seems a good price for the outgoing model, top spec I believe with 32GB Ram.

For comparison the new 4060 version with half the ram and storage is £1899.

    Nice laptop.

You can also get 15% off these with 2023 laptops, code LEGION15. They are very well regarded

    the £1900 (*0.85)=£1615, for 13700HX, RTX 4070, 32gb ram, 240hz etc

    I just bought one

That seems like a really good price for the spec. Apparently the GPU is 140W, too, so full fat.

Pretty good price for a great laptop.
Having looked at this exact model a few times (not pulled the trigger yet) it's worth advising anyone to consider the graphics card RX 6700S instead.
Only slightly lower performance, for notably better power-draw, heat generation etc, and of course lower cost.

I've got one of the previous models, 16gb and RTX3060 and it's such a nice machine. Best gaming laptop I've owned.

I'm wondering if the power delivery and cooling can actually keep up with these high end parts... it's only 14in after all, not a lot of space...

It's quite impressive if they actually managed to do it though. (edited)

This laptop has AMD CPU and GPU which generally fare much better in this department than Intel. Intel has better performance but it runs really hot. On my laptop, the Intel CPU is at 95 degrees C constantly, which seems insane.
