I have the 18G version of this and have been looking to add the 16G for a little while. This is the cheapest it's been on Amazon for a while. Might be useful to someone.

Great nailer. The 18 gauge is even better.

Better to go for the 16 gauge as a single bit of kit?

Thanks Ive been waiting for this to come down. Theres a youtube video somewhere that claims this is better than the Dewalt nailer and I think most other brands.

I have the 16g version which is great for heavy duty but for finer things like trims and skirting etc, just how much better is the 18g?

I used the 16g to reattach skirting after laying flooring and the heads of the nails were a bit unclean.

I have both and think that while the 16g is a great nailer the 18g is better.

16g rips straight through beading, thin bits of beading etc. If you’re doing framing round openings skirtings etc 16g probably better

For those on a budget, how about Aldi one for £89.99...

That's 18G. Although the one you posted fires staples and nails so it has it's pros. Not tried it though as I have the Ryobi 18G.

Had this for a year, only got to use it for the first time last weekend. Put some architrave and skirting up in no time at all. Excellent product. Makes a very cool sound as well
