Ok, so theres two schools of thought for 'sales', one thread for in this case 'screwfix' where all the deals get lost.... or the individual items listed where ya get fed up with seeing the same company, , BUt I've gone for a half and half Screwfix as always have a Sale Bank Holiday deals, but specifically the DEWALT LEVELS stuck out to me at being 49% off!! so I've pictured a cart with the 4 main sizes in, 72",36" 24",12" and thrown in the base multi screwdriver at a £10'er as whilst the the RRP's are un-representative, the current 51% prices are very fair...

72" @ £45.50
36"@ £34.99
24" @ £26.50
12" @ £12.25

6 way multi-screwdriver £10

are there better Levels? SURE, are there cheaper levels... SURE... But unless the pros jump in with "these are trash..." I think they're a decent buy

Thats a great deal on the individual items......they are pretty much indestructible as spirit levels go. The construction of them is really heavy duty.

Worth nothing that the set of 3 shown at £179.99 goes on offer several times a year at approx £89.99 - £99.99. I picked up a set the last time they were on offer.

Only problem I've found is that I can't find a case for then....as they are pretty beefy items. Have the OX Pro level case for my stadila set and they won't fit into that.

    Heat for the individual prices

yeah I noticed when posting that the 3-set had been £89-99 but individually I couldn't really fault the prices...

50072468_1.jpgGHH.SOLUTIONS1 h, 18 m agoSorry o jump in with a "these are trash" comment but, these are trash. DeWALT make good power tools but rubbish hand tools. Save up a bit longer and buy Stabila.

No need to be sorry, but a little explanation as to why wouldn't go amiss, as the first part of your comment however valid gets weakened by the second and third parts. i.e. a Blanket Dewalt hand tools are rubbish, isn't fair or true,
I would agree they are not in the same quality league as their battery kit for sure, as I have been disappointed with the actual in the hand feel or design choices of some Dewalt hand tools when checking them out on the shelf.
But also have used one or two, tape measures, a folding saw, knife. that have performed far from "Trash".
Likewise, with your third comment, I think the base level (sic) Stabila Levels are a right rip off of the name and brand, the lightweight construction being pitiful and badly finished.
So just stating the name doesn't work. Obviously, I don't disagree with the proper range of Stabila being quality, and you did say save up for, so you're no doubt referring to the unquestionably 'GOOD STUFF', but unfortunately as seems to be the way with most brands now, they want to hoover up the 'brand' buyers with the cheap tat at the bottom...

But all genuine viewpoints are valid! after all, they're only a bargain if they are generally speaking, I've preferred the 'Fat-max' top-tier tools from the Stanley brand which is obviously and evidently, very closely related in the stable. (edited)

If you just need one for a quick job you can use your phone if you google "bubble level"

I’m not overly keen on DeWalt levels but this isn’t a bad deal.

Im really commenting just to say it’s a real shame when people talk about pro grade levels that Stabila is the first/only brand mentioned when you can buy better levels, made in the UK for similar price points. I suggest anyone considering a Stabilia to check out ‘superior levels’…

Got the torpedo and the 1.2m yesterday. Great prices to be fair (and more or less the only decent “BH deal” they’ve done)

Do other spirit levels have more technologically advanced air bubbles then?

When people talk about the quality of a level it's more about the design and construction. While the accuracy is pretty much going to be the same, some are really thin, some have handles though the middle (Stanley Fatmax), and these are also more chunky. Some have measurements etched into the top beam, and some don't have a little indentation for the horizontal bubble so if you were using it to draw a straight line, you can.

Does it come with a spare bubble?

Why is this listed in spirits? How strong is that fluid with the bubble? Doesn’t look like much for £12
