  • AMARO MARASCHINO 70cl — This amaro is slowly infused with luxurious Italian maraschino cherries and the sweet, bitter peels from fresh oranges to create a delicious distillate of Amaro.
  • 35% ABV — Perfectly balanced with soft, fruity, and round Amaro qualities and the distinctive aroma and taste of maraschino cherry. Put this beautiful bottle on your back bar with the gin and vodka, rum and whisky offerings.
  • A PERFECT GIFT — Whether you’re looking for gifts for men, women, birthdays, or teachers, this beautiful bottle will line up nicely in anyone’s home and goes great with chocolate.
  • PROUDLY ITALIAN — Distilled in Piedmont and named for the long-horned mountain goats who roam the Alps near our home. This spirit, popular in the mountain resorts of the area, is best enjoyed over ice after a long day of skiing or a long day at work.
  • STAMBECCO AND COLA — If sipping amaro on the rocks isn’t for you, serve your maraschino amaro over ice and mixed with a cold cola, garnish with a cherry (what else) and sit back to enjoy the views.
  • ‎35 Percent by Volume

Leave the wine cellar and forget the still water and the beer, save the coffee for later and grab the cocktail glasses and ice. STAMBECCO AMARO MARASCHINO is the ideal home accessory for those who enjoy the finer things in life. Gin, wine, whisky, rum, vodka, beer, champagne, tequila, and tonic are all great, but entertain your guests with crisps or biscuits and a drink that’s smooth, rich, and unique. Offer them something they will call to ask about later when they are thinking about birthday gifts for her other than perfume. Serve early in the night mixed with Dr Pepper, or with after dinner digestives, or display alongside the Grenandine with the other Italian liqueurs. It’s a digestif but feel free to enjoy before dinner, because we certainly do.

Tasting Note

Jammy cherry, marzipan and brown sugar, leading into woody bitterness bringing balance on a dry finish.

Stambecco is Distilled by the Vergano Family at Torino Distillati in Northern Italy Moncalieri where Amaro began. The name Stambecco comes from the Italian word for the Ibex mountain goats that roam the Italian alps near the family Distillery.

A bittersweet Italian amaro infused with luxury Maraschino Cherries, bitter-Citrus peel and local mountain herbs.

At 35% alcohol, Stambecco is a perfectly balanced, smooth, fruity and rounded Amaro with a delicious and relaxed flavour.

Distilled in Italy with Marasca Cherries

Marasca cherries from Pecetto in Italy are soaked in alcohol, pressed in a traditional basket press and distilled in our copper pot still to bring out the delicious and rich flavour of the Italian fruit.

Vacuum distilled botanicals

The delicious cherry distillate is blended with 30 natural botanicals which have been vacuum distilled to preserve the flavour.

The natural ingredients include Sweet orange peel, Cinchona, Rhubarb and Saffron.

How would this compare to Amaro Montenegro?

    I would think this smoother.

    Every Amaro is different!

My wife likes the Cinzano brand Vermouth and me as a sucker for 70's adverts sticks with Martini for party nights but if its just us having a quiet drink we opt for Amaro Lucano

Is it just me, or from a distance, does this bottle look like a packet of those New York bagels?

    That’s what I thought too!

Thanks. Got another. Bought it last time when it was a few pence cheaper. Tastes like a cross between amaretto and a herbal liquer with a hint of cherry. More of a Christmas drink

    Nice stuff

I fully understand why this might be thought of a a Winter/Ski Slope drink but its currently being used in this Summers Wave of new and old revival cocktails.

Makes a great Mary Pickford and allows you to forever vary with differing Rums.

    A bargain at this price.

    Good post @paul124
