£371.00 RRP £530.00

Following on from the successful collaboration with Queen guitarist Brian May in 2020, Seiko is proud to launch a new limited edition timepiece with the acclaimed musician, with just 12,500 pieces available worldwide.
Brian has worn a Seiko diver’s watch for over 40 years, purchased on his first ever trip to Japan in the 1970s - since when his guitar and his watch have travelled the globe together, making great music, keeping great time.
The latest gold colour accented design, inspired again by his ‘Red Special’ guitar, is inspired by the latest remastered Brian May solo albums within his 'Gold Series.'
This timepiece features Brian’s signature on its clear caseback and comes with a special presentation box inspired by a guitar case, along with a commemorative lucky Sixpence which Brian uses instead of a plectrum. Its nylon strap is designed to emulate the guitar strings expertly played by Brian May.
Proceeds from the sale of the watch will be donated The Mercury Phoenix Trust founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor and their manager Jim Beach in memory of rock band Queen’s iconic lead singer Freddie Mercury.
Seiko’s Seiko 5 Sports watches are known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance and value.
‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.

Dunno, this is a lot of £££ for an SRPD with 12.5k units. I think you would need to be a Brian May uber fan to justify it. For comparison I paid £275 18 months ago for a Streetfighter series 'Ken' with 10k units & you can still get those. I'll add heat for the current saving but unless you are desperate for one I'd suggest wait 6 months to a year & get a significantly bigger discount. I could be wrong but it's no Ginza.

Ps. Slightly irritating for those who bought the first round of 'limited' editions, no? (edited)

I don't understand why a watch collaboration with the Establishment's favourite pop star is appealing.

It's such a lame collaboration with a tasteless end result. Much like his curly perm (btw it didn't actually have to be permanent, Brian)

Me thinks someone should stay to playing music, and NOT anything to do with design/taste

It reminds me of someone I saw with a large cyst on their neck. (edited)
