Bought these a few months ago to replace my Sony XM3s, battery life is Incredible, comfortably getting me through a week's use with noise cancelling on occasionally. XM3 had better noise cancelling though (literally silent). The multipoint connection is also cool allowing me to jump from my TV to my phone depending on what I'm doing, wish they made a quick way of jumping though rather than having to go into the Anker app.

No need to switch with the app. Multipoint switches to whichever device is making sound. So pause playing something on one device and start playing it on the other multipoint will switch automatically. (The caveat is it won't switch away from a device making sound.) (edited)

    Pros:
    - ldac sound

    - very comfortable (wish they had more padding at the head band tho)

    - price/sound is absurd compared to what you normally pay for good headphones

    - mics are good

    - battery last me more than 2 weeks using them 5 days a week for 2 hour every day

    Cons:

    - sound is not well balanced compared to the q35 (this can be fixed with eq)

    - noise cancelling is not its strong point

    - some people complain that the case is big ( i dont really care about it)

    - most likely is an app bug but every time i turn them on it goes to the default eq preset.

I compared them vs the bose 700 and soundcore q35

    Vs bose:

-Q45 win in every aspect except noise cancelling ( including that the bose are basically 2 times the price)

    Vs q35:

    - Q35 have a more balanced sound (plain) in comparison vs the q45 but q45 win in everything else

Can anyone confirm if the ANC works via a wired connection? I tried the Q20s but ANC only works via Bluetooth.

Nice to see the price coming down. As I already have the Q30 now I think I might go for the XM4 this time around, to test out Sony's noise cancelling. Many seem to be saying the XM4s are very similar to the XM5 and you can fold them (though that's not a necessity for me).

Unless an offer I can't refuse comes along. Reviewers seemed to be rather underwhelmed by the sound signature and seem to think they Soundcore Q range sounds all quite similar (I have Q20s too). (edited)

If you're buying NC headphones, it's worth shelling out for the best NC. Sony or Bose for me.

These are amazing, but I got Q35 for half that price so I am happy.

I bought the Q35 based on reviews which offered better balance Vs Q45. You can cycle through Normal, Transparent (works well), and Noise Cancelling (which is average as ambient sounds can still be heard). Nice soundstage, around the ear design so more comfortable and I found the ear cups are pretty comfortable without my ears sweating. Battery life on Anker headphones are impressive. Not an audiophile as such but I have been listening to some older songs and pretty much shocked how good they sound with a nicer headset.

Bizarrely the yo-yoing nature of Amazon the Q35 is priced higher than Q45 at the moment. (edited)
