Nice deal but phone weighs 191g which seems quite heavy.

I've also edited the deal title to reflect that it's a bit of a tall tale from Samsung!

Looks like it! Still selling for £269 on Samsung site and £279 on AKG site (lol) (lol) The headphones don't make the deal for me anyway! The phone at that price is the cheapest I can find! The headphones were just a bonus!

Worth £269? Aren't they these? https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/audio-and-headphones/headphones/headphones/akg-n60nc-bluetooth-wireless-noise-cancelling-headphones-black-10164387-pdt.html

Jean Michel Jarre - Equinox Infinity CD @ HMV instore - £6.99
Found 7 h, 17 m agoFound 7 h, 17 m ago
Not a bad price for in-store. This is his latest album too. The guy is a legend and we need to keep supporting his music. Also support HMV before it goes under!!

No, they are new recordings mainly. I think Aero was a remix but it was done mainly for 5.1 stereo sound. It also had bonus new tracks added.

Doesn't he just remix his original recordings?

I thought Oxygene 3 was a great comeback. A refreshing update with old synth sounds. Electronica 1&2 had a good collaboration with famous artists but some of the tracks were disappointly average.

Yes I agree, it's a good album but not in the same league as Oxygene and Equinoxe. Those albums were absolute masterpieces and still sound great even after all these years.

I completely agree. I did hear the collaboration but wasn't to my taste.

Are they the E19 you got?

Yea that’s a lightning deal that’s ended.

Love the video on Amazon. Spunky headphones, hmm.

They are a steal for the price. Very nice case that pops open and swivels round to reveal the headphones. The ear fins make them secure and comfortable for long period. Plus they sound fantastic straight out of the box. Tried similar wireless earbuds and had to mess around with the equaliser to make them sound half decent.

Sony WH-1000XM2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones £199.99 @ Currys Croydon

Sony WH-1000XM2 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones in Black from Currys Croydon

Ah was looking at these and the Bose 25’s before Xmas but never grabbed either. You just reminded me to keep my eye out for a good set of NC headphones

It's the design of the arms of the headphones on how much they press onto your head. I can wear the Bose for 2hrs+ without my head hurting. Which is quite rare from previous experience. Think my Sennheiser Momentum ones were decent to.

That depends more on spectacles rather than the headphone itself. If spectacles have thick arms then any headphone will cause discomfort, would it?

No it’s a national price. Website has no stock and Black isn’t listed. Looks like Curry’s will soon stick them on Clearance. The. The price will end .97 and start to drop further.

Definitely worth popping into the store if convenient and seeing. Currys will price match

Your ears will become really hot and uncomfortable after a couple of hours if they were real leather.

I think we should start seeing bluetooth 5.0 NC headphones this year, but as far as I know there aren't any yet.

I take it these are not Bluetooth 5 ? The new Bluetooth 5 is available on later mobiles (e.g. S8 onwards) and offers much greater range, lower power consumption, multiple audio, etc. I am looking for a good deal on good BT5 n/c phones.

Was tempted by these, ended up with the Sennheiser PCX550 which are fantastic. (£217 today from Amazon)

Yes it’s gone up £129 on Bose UK website. Use TCB UK and get 6% cash back ;)

Get a revolute card. I only use it for things like this. Ps - Wife - I didn't buy this, don't panic.

Would have been sensible and useful for the OP to include the EUR price. Now they're 144,90 EUR which is £128, before delivery.

£129.95 direct from Bose......and Quidco are offering 3% cashback on all Bose purchases. This brings it down to £126.05 which sounds much better than trying to navigate the "fee free card" scenario! (y) :o (highfive)

These are probably the apple ones. They're being discounted because apple phones now don't have the 3.5mm Jack anymore. I've been trying to find an android version at this price without any luck. :(

I've had these are a few years and prefer them to the over ear 35's that my wife has. Battery pack is fine when you get used to it and charge lasts a decent amount if time.

Maybe none for delivery, but when I put my postcode in for collection, it says available from Kings Lynn. That's no where near me, but still good for someone else.

No stock ;(

I picked up a pair of the SoundPeats. They sound really great for the price. Great in general actually, better then my Anker bluetooth pair which are not TWH. The buttons do not work as described though, could just be my copy. I cannot skip tracks. Very happy for the price even without though.

Not y Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but why would you think it's about money? Wouldn't they make more money by allowing them?

Thanks for that. Having read it, it's an unsatisfactory explanation. I quote: "Is it about money? Nope" lol. Of course it is all about money.. making vast mounds of it for the site owners. I've no problem with that but trying to dress it up as something different is disingenuous to say the least. In this instance i cannot think of a valid reason why this deal should not be posted. But what do i know?

It's infuriating. I was going to get my GF a TicWatch for Christmas but when they were on offer, so I thought I'd wait till I see it on here (instead of checking Amazon every day) only to find out they're banned because they use FBA, so I missed that.

Yeah....the cloud 2 has the velour pads. There's also the newer alpha model at the same price.

The MKII version of these come with pleather and velour pads and 2 cables. More expensive though.

Not too high unfortunately...the absolute max is £70. I don't mind headphone or headset, although i'd prefer a headset for gaming. The only one with velour pads, I could find was the HyperX Cloud 2 for £69.99.

Sweaty ears is a problem. If you're going for open then get some with velour pads or buy some for them, otherwise you'll probably still suffer. The ones here come with pleather which aren't breathable but certainly better than closed and pleather. What's your budget?

Hi @rev6 I'm looking for budget over-ear headphones. Since I get sweaty ears, I was told it would help to have them semi-open, although it also could be caused due to the leather pads. Any recommendations?

Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones Look pretty decent and half the price of the new version which is selling for 105. Voucher for 6£ off also showing on page.

live chat put me on the waiting list

It's your brain that gets "run in", not the headphones.

How did you get contacted? i asked live chat and they told me that they dont do phone calls

Not that much of a difference. I own several sets of Bluetooth headphones and these are one of the worst. The noise cancellation is virtually non existent, bar the fact that they are over ear and the dampening this provides.

Be careful not to judge headphones and speakers until they have been run in. Even the Sonys need running in for a few hours.
