I made the mistake of buying this from Aldi for a similar price. The spin thing is totally pointless and you have to use it as you can't wring the mop head without it. So you end up endlessly stepping down on the pedal like a 17 year old in a corsa. Mop isn't telescopic so it's a pain to store. Bucket is massive and doesn't fit in a standard sink. Avoid. (edited)

Agree with you 100%. Bought one recently from Tesco for £20.
    "Smart" , what a joke.
    Waste of money.

I bought one of these a couple of years ago. The handle is telescopic and shortens to less than 2 feet, the top of the handle can be held and doesn't spin while the rest of the mop spins while pressing the pedal. 5 to 6 presses on the pedal leaves the mop just right, very damp but not too wet. Replacement mop heads can be bought or removed for washing. The bucket has a hole near the top for easy emptying of contents. I wouldn't hesitate buying another highly recommended

It is good. I’ve had it for over a year now and happy with it. Not sure what people complaining about. Perhaps they don’t know how to use it or expected something else
