I've used the cheaper Lidl own brand W5 for a while now and it's good.

It's not at all.
Squirt for squirt it really isn't... 'Fairyconomy' is always a tried and tested saying.

My household goes through a 1 liter Fairy liquid bottle every 2+ months and we tried the W5 earlier this year and we went through a 500ml W5 bottle in about 8 days earlier this year.

It's worth spending a bit more to save a load more.. adds up over the course of a year/using it.

Worked it out for me as about £18 a years for using Fairy and it otherwise would be £34.22 using the W5 antibacterial washing liquid a year. So spending almost double plus constantly having to buy loads more bottles all the time....

Good price for small bottle, but you can get 1 litre bottles for £2.99 which would be better value

The manufacturer says Fairy lasts 2-3 times longer, but it's more than 3 times the price, of the cheapest washing up liquid. Therefore, even by the manufacturer's own marketing claims, other products offer better value.
