If you click my profile, on hukd, you should find a link to my YouTube channel, although I haven't posted videos on my channel for a few years now, but I do update frequently on gadgets I like in my play lists (my channel is not monetised before someone moans). You can find a play list (among many others) for robotic vacuums and mops where i have included many comparison videos I found useful. Hope that helps.

Thanks, didn't realise there were other changes. Will take a look

It can climb higher obstacles, auction is slightly better, Filter is washable but slightly inferior for size of particles it catches, design improvements. So it's not just mop. Extra sensor on top so it didn't get caught under sodas and backs out when pressure sensor is triggered. Even the old version was miles better than irobot etc, this newer one is hands down better. But only you can decide if buying old version and separate robotic mop is better for you. I bought the older version it was £170 more reach when I bought mine, I wanted 3 of them for each floor and already owned 2 robot mops whose mopping fiction was better than the one on the 2nd Gen here. So only wanted the vacuum feature and not mop. So opted for earlier version.

Anyone have this who can say whether the mop function worth the extra £100?? Seems a reasonable price to me.

Ok, no need to be so aggressive

Anybody know if these can be used on a Russell Hobbs steam mop that has the pads attached by 3 stupid little velcro strips? There does seem to be a bit of a lip around the edge that might hold the string in place...

I've had VAX Steam mops in the past and found them to be great. I moved over to karcher steamer when my ex took the VAX with her and it's not a patch on the VAX.

It was purchased today it was saying full price on shelf but the lady was changing the prices as I was their. She said it was done late as their has been alot of colleagues if due to weather

It will be the date the payment terminal was verified or something like that, not the date of purchase i believe :) Failing that it's not programmed properly.

That's dated 2016!

Little Asda? Or one in sheer water? Were there loads left and where abouts please

I have had two of these things and they are very cheaply made and both lasted around 5 minutes. When I returned the second one the manager said there had been several returned and he intended letting his area manager know. Maybe this is why they are offloading them. Bought a Bona one from Lakeland. More expensive of course but three year guarantee. Been great so far!

These are great. Bought a year ago. If they are the same ones then the pads are washable too which is great

typical, I paid £9.99 last week from B&M

Mother in Laws birthday well sorted..! :{

I should say there were loads hanging on two hooks presumably because nothing to say they were £4.99, all still stickered as £9.99.

First time i'd actually seen these in stock was last week, just been tonigt, and they didn't even have any spray mops!. they had the normal pads for £8 but nothing at all to do with the spray one. I just use the non spray version of this. fill and old bottle with hot water, and a squish of floor cleaner, and just squirt, and clean as I go :)

This is a microfiber cloth that you can wash, and refillable bottle too.

You can buy an Addiss version, which admittedly costs more, but has a refillable bottle & washable microfibre cloth head cover. Even with buying a couple of spare microfibre covers that makes more financial sense in the long run, & has very good reviews too. There's generic versions available in the usual brick & mortar stores too.

Had one of these ages ago with Flash, they have stopped making them but found Wilko did the pads really cheap

I have one and it packed up spraying after a few months. Good mop though even without the spray.

Great deal. I need one of these so hope my store has them. Thanks for sharing.

Kentucky mop bucket - £26.60 @ eBay / bayersanuktd
Found 27th JanFound 27th Jan
Looks good deal if someone looking for bucket. Can't find similar for better price. Also 20% off at this moment.

£26.6 for a bucket with wheels. Did the Kentucky Mop Bucket Company just hire someone from Apple? I see the 3.5mm Squeegee port has been removed too. Cold XD

Fantastic! Wanted to make a HUGE Simple Simon game. These buckets with four lightbulbs, some spare electronics, and a bit of soldering iron should do the trick.

This is more commercial use then a home. But could be useful for home.

I have a list of things to do before I die, and buying one of these was on it. Thanks!

On wheels ??? So as soon as you push the mop down to squeeze the water out of it, the whole bucket skates off and spills its contents on the floor you've just washed. No thanks.
