Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser WP-120UK

The Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser (WP-120UK) provides excellent water flossing performance. It cleans deep between teeth and below the gumline where traditional brushing and flossing can't reach, utilising a unique combination of water pressure and pulsations. It also massages and stimulates gums for enhanced circulation.

The easy and more effective way to floss, the Waterpik Water Flosser is great for anyone with braces, implants, crowns, bridges or periodontal pockets. It features 10 pressure settings, a contemporary design, a covered reservoir with in-lid tip storage and water pause button built into the handle to easily control water flow.

Brushing alone is not enough

For good oral health, simply brushing your teeth is not enough. If you just brush, plaque and debris get left behind. The Waterpik Water Flosser cleans away debris that other devices miss. It cleans deep between the teeth and below the gumline to remove up to 99.9% of plaque from treated areas.

Clinically proven benefits

The Waterpik Water Flosser is clinically proven to provide significant oral health benefits. I purchased the WP660 version of this last year for £50 and think it's really good. Plugs into the shaver socket and provides repetitive, adjustable pressured, squirts of water that you can knock out a gnat on the other side of the room with. The most powerful setting makes my gums bleed though so I'm using on half power. Certainly does the job though!

These are rubbish in my opinion, you have to keep charging them all the time, there's no charging indication lights, the water reservoir is too small, better off paying more and getting a mains one

Where do you plug in a mains powered version in a bathroom? There should be no sockets, and not many have the shaver socket

Are they that powerful? Would it not be better to get a £1 nerf water gun and squirt?

Picked mine up yesterday and I am actually impressed. More than enough power for me. Much better than the Lidl cordless one I returned last year. Teeth feel a lot cleaner now.

You can pretend it is one but you will have to make the blaster sounds yourself or find a video of it. Looking at it, I see what you mean though.

Used the Waterpik plug in version for about 6 years and this particular model for around 2 years - wouldn’t be without it now.

I tried the cordless version but it wasn’t powerful enough.

I have a plug in version bought 3+ years ago and brilliant purchase. Use it once a week and feels great

I’ve been using an older version of the plug in (via shaver socket) and it has been very effective. My hygienist has commented on it. My old model is now showing signs of failing so I’ve bought the 120 model. A steal at this price. Recommended.

Considering the vigour I can generate between my teeth when I swirl mouthwash in my mouth, I can't imagine these are much good other than for the lazy who still think it is a substitute for floss or interdental brushes.

Interdental brushes have got to be the most effective tool. Since I started using them instead of floss, my dentist has said my teeth are totally plaque free at each checkup. Just wish I'd used them when I was younger.

It is just not being lazy - I can never get used to manual flossing - just find awkward in certain positions....these things are good. My old Phillips packed up

The description on boots web site says that the blue button on the handle is a pause button.
Does this mean that the water jets out of the nozzle when switched on and I have to press the button to stop. I notice the next model up the WP150 has a ON/OFF on the handle and I would think that is a better solution where I can switch the flow on/off instead of pause.
Can anyone with the model posted by OP confirm how the blue button works on this model ?
    Yolofknell's avatar
    Yolofknell Author
Yes that is correct. When you switch the device on water then comes out of the nozzle, you have to hold the blue pause button to stop the water. Not an issue for me as the initial water that comes out is cold so I let it run until the luke warm water that I filled the tank with starts to come through.
