Not expecting fireworks on the heat front as this is probably a bit of a niche (?) product but if just one person gets a bargain here more than happy.

A very innovative product (check out the video below ) Unique in the market?

The included battery, charger and bit set would probably cost more than this package on their own!

Only 35 in stock at the time of posting.

Register the purchase with Worx and they will extend the manufacturer's warranty to 3 years.

You really need to see this!

With the WORX WX176 switch driver, DIY Can spend more time creating and less time Switching tools! The WORX switch driver is a 2-in-1 tool, that can be loaded with two different sized bits or a drill bit and driver Bit, or other endless combinations to make your life easier.

The two basic functions of a cordless drill are drilling holes and driving screws. But what if a drill could perform either task at the push of a button? That’s just what the engineers at WORX had in mind when they developed the new WORX WX176 20V Max lithium switch driver. This hybrid cordless drill features two ¼ inch chucks that rotate 180 degree clockwise or counter-clockwise with the push of a button.

When working on a project that requires repetitive drilling and driving, you usually have two choices. The first is to buy two different power tools, load one with a drill bit and one with a fastener drive bit and go back and forth between tools. The second option is to constantly switch from one Bit to the other and back throughout the project. Now, one tool and one button and you can go back and forth with ease. Just pull the switch button, turn the head 180-degrees and go.

The WORX lithium power battery platform is the ideal source of energy for the latest generation of power tools. It provides extreme performance and allows you to interchange your 20V batteries with any WORX 20V tool - across the garden and power tool ranges.

  • Quickly and conveniently rotate the dual-chuck platform to switch between endless combinations of
  • Compact and lightweight; very easy to control
  • 2-Speed gearing to tackle all common drilling & Driving applications
  • Precise electronic torque control prevents the stripping of screws and potential damage to your work environment or materials
  • Power Share 20V battery is interchangeable with other 20V WORX tools

Think people are missing the point of this. If you need the hammer drill function or an impact driver function this isn’t for you - get a dedicated tool. This is perfect for creating pilot holes and then screwing large numbers of screws, especially where you have your hands full eg at height up a ladder. Having just put about 200 screws into plywood sheathing, this would have made the job a doddle.

I have 3 worx drills and a makita. This is my favourite drill due to the two heads I just use it for making holes and drilling screws in wood

It seems to be a jack of all trades / master of none.

The drill doesn't haven't hammer function.
The screwdriver isn't an impact one.

There was a deal with two separate Worx hammer drill and impact driver last year for around the same price.
Came with a 2nd battery too.

I think that would be much more useful than this.

Should be on again around prime day, like last year, if you can wait.

    Found it.
Got this deal last year, they have both been excellent, done lots of DIY and heavy duty tasks over the past 9 months. They actually shipped with 2Ah batteries, not 1.5Ah, nice bonus

I'd keep an eye out for a deal on that again. (edited)

Yes I also posted that twin pack deal

Id be surprised if they return, they sold over a thousand from what i remember at the time but they did keep adding to the in stock number. However, i believe both those dills have been replaced by a new version so who knows?

Voted hot, this is a super deal. I've used this product long time ago when I lived in Canada. It is very practical for light to medium DIY. I wanted this onr when I did my decking about 5 years ago, but it was +£150. Found it at some point at £99, which was close to the price I was willing to pay for it. The deal ended before I've made up my mind. Now, I don't need it anymore, but at this price I'm so tempted... (edited)

Interesting idea but note it doesn't have a conventional chuck so you'll be limited to drills/driver bits with a hex shank.

I like WORX stuff (have plenty) and this is a great price but it's a bit too specialized for most I think. (edited)

TBF I posted it at £73 months ago and did put 'a bit of a niche product' in the description. Decided to leave it out of this deal but probably should have put it in

    It's back (edited)

Mmmm, not sure that's going to last. Also not sure if want a pivot point like that if drilling. Guess for light work and at that price it might be a decent option. Be interested to hear some real world experience

It's guaranteed for 3 years. Worx seem confident of its longevity.

I thought I had most Worx cordless kit but that is new one! It solves a 'problem' I didn't know I had. That said the 2AH battery and charger is worth about £25-£30 perhaps so its a value piece of kit - heat!
My 'problem' is like W0nky it looks pretty light use - both the chucks look really lightweight compared to decent drill/drivers. Would it actually stand up to serious use?
If you have an old word drill (like me) better to buy a better new one and then you have two for the purpose. Worx have some brushless active hammer drills that really do the business.

I'm the same. Every time something arrives the leaflet seems to contain more.
It's been brilliant for gardening and home DIY though, so I'm very happy. Just need to turn it into something more profitable such as building planters or something I can sell to justify the kit...

Great deal. Shame I have 3 decent drills (Bosch pro & worx) already and simply can't justify getting another worx one!

I quite like the idea. Even for just a project with different size pozi heads. However as mentioned above those chucks look far too lightweight and, having just returned an Einhell with a faulty chuck which Toolstation couldn’t replace, getting warranty done is usually a pain.

Ah are they looking lightweight as it needs ‘special’ collared bits? (edited)

Interesting concept, but probably just for light DIY. Max 30NM torque is about half the professional range drivers will provide. Hex drill bits may limit choice, quality and price. No hammer function. But for lighter jobs this looks really handy.

Didnt need. Totally wanted. Ordered but not sure why the 20x nectar didnt show for this for me at checkout. Previous deals have showed the bonus points amount at checkout.

Love worx stuff everything has been great for me except for a brushless rip saw. Purchased to replace the old model that had been put through its paces. New one burnt out in 3 mins cutting lower than the max thickness. Awaiting the replacement tool atm
