Thanks op. We went this week £63 for a family of 5 was a bargain. We already had complementary swimming tickets so really enjoyed it. I would warn people though that the food from flambo jambos restaurant was gross I wouldn’t recommend eating there.
Before booking school holidays online it might be worth ringing. They seem to have offers not available on the website. I asked for a quote for this 40% deal but the agent mistakenly thought I asked for the “40% off including tickets” deal.... My August dates comparison for a family of 4 in splash landing; 2 nights B&B only online= 270 2 days tickets only (discounted thru work)= 140 total=£410 2 nights short break online inc 2 days tickets = £575 2 nights short break over-the-phone inc 2 days tickets = £395
Hi just wondered if anyone using this offer has been and did they have to show a Merlin annual pass? Can’t wirk out if you need a pass to use code b40. Thanks
I've stayed there and it's AWFUL!! The food costs a fortune and the staff aren't particularly helpful. We ended up leaving a day early.
anyone seen any enchanted village available? I tried many days but no enchanted village option :(
Nice thanks, I’ll pick some up (highfive)
We share 97% of our DNA with orangutans. Can we save one of our closest living relatives from extinction?
(skeptical) this is soap (y)
I don't know why people waste money on such things, soap is entirely adequate and FAR cheaper!
I have used this as well as all the supermarket brands in the past. They are all the same. Go for the cheapest on the day would be my advice.
Thanks :) , this is actually quite good for me.
Whatever you pay for your entrance goes towards the cost of an Alton Towers annual pass, which you can then upgrade on the day. So yes, these will.
Does it work on the annual pass offer? Where a one day ticket can be used towards annual pass? I saw an advert "...buy a day ticket and come for the whole year...." Or something like that Thanks
They have stopped them on kellogs
Or Cadbury’s choc bags are doing buy one get one free entry to these places. Also the voucher is valid till 31.07.18
If I buy 2 (£110) and use the family friend offer for £15 ticket/day could I take my two children for £30 extra for two days with a total cost of £170? Anyone know? just trying to price up versus 2 41
Which Wicker Man is the new ride based on? Is it BEEEEEEEEEEES?!
Good deal if you are local but with all the 241 vouchers it's only a deal if you are going to go at least 3 times in a year
Worth noting parking isn't included, Thorpe Park have a similar offer for £49
Ah forgot about that one , ok thanks anyway
You have to cook them and share at least 2 slices with the gate staff
Just reading the title.... do I have to take the pizzas with me as I enter? Thanks in advance.
We never see any Blackpool pleasure beach deals these days NONE NADA ZIP (mad)
We were thinking of going tomorrow was just a little put off about the park only being open 10-4, we may not get there till 11am if there is traffic. Only other time would be in June but don't know if it would be busy with school trips the then. Anyone know what it is normally like midweek early June? Would you get on more rides going 10ish-4 in May or 10ish-5.30 in June?
BTW this deal seems to have ended last week. Tried to book but kept saying that there was no availability. Phoned them up and they had plenty of rooms for a higher price
Great deal. Shame we don't drive as always wanted to go to Alton Towers but seems a complete nightmare to get to from Norwich via public transport. Does anyone know of companies that do excursions from Norwich? Have googled it to no avail :(
Is CBeebies land included in the entry ticket? Or is it extra and is splash landings available to go on the day like walk in?
What happens if you select 2 adults
So it does! I booked online...Thursday I think
Voucher expires 31st May 2019. Very strange... Did you book online or do it on the day?
Might have something to do with the voucher expiring on the 31st may?? I don't know...it was £33 last week (I went saturday) I also strongly advise you get some fast track tickets aswell....we had to que for wicker man ride for 2/half hours (annoyed)
Could you please let me know how you got 2 tickets for £33? When following your link, selecting 1 paying adult and then entering the code states that the price will be £55. I am booking for 21st June and the Online saver price for this date is £33, however the Seabrook price is £55 and I can't work out how to get 2 for £33 like you said?
Hi Does anyone have any of the voucher codes that they're not using please?
U have to join the full queue pay full for 1, u then show the free pass for your second person
Would it be cheaper to use this and book online or go on the day and buy it ?
There's also free entry to win Merlin passes: https://www.merlinfun.com/win/
Not just TESCO but also most supermarkets and corner stores, has been off and on for years. Promotional packs only
Just returned home yesterday. Fantastic deal. we added my little 15 month old to the deal free of charge. We spent only a few hours in the waterpark but it's better for those aged 2 or 3 upwards. Roads were a little sketchy on the way home but never got stuck once.
Water park is heated, it's temperature really does fit in with its tropical theme! The hotel rooms are insanely warm too especially the ones in splash landings hotel (which is closed ATM) bordering the water park. Right now I would gladly pay £69 for the use of their heating and use the bubbly wubbly pool (hot tub)
It's inside. Chump.
Water park, in March? I'm sure he will enjoy it!
Site gone down
Families of 5 do not get a look in either :'(
For those who have booked this, the Entertainment Schedule can be found here: https://i.emlfiles4.com/cmpdoc/5/8/4/8/5/files/483553_feb-half-term--entertainment-guide-min.pdf
When i try and book it says 172.00
Please can anyone tell me if the 'FREE WATERPARK VOUCHER - 1 Day Access' means you can access the pool facilities all day, or if you are given a time limited slot? I've tried looking on the website but can't find the answer. Thanks
Great deal this, went two years ago and my kids loved it. Going again this year, can't wait! Love the Alton Towers Hotel, couldn't afford Disneyland this year, so this is the next best thing (and a lot cheaper to be fair!)
I’ve got two paper tickets for the 20th May and need to swap for the 30th May. A long shot but if anybody can swap message me.
Hi anyone can help please I miss 2 codes to collect and it’s last day to book many thanks
All booked now, well 25mins ago, paypal working
I'm also having the same problem on step 3 of 3 for the payment. Tried different mobiles and a laptop but no luck. Anyone managed to make a booking today?
Ahhh ok makes that more sense then (lol)
Oh but there is ...https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/2015/nov/24/alton-towers-rollercoaster-crash-caused-by-human-error-theme-park-says
There are no Sharks in the water don't worry
So have mine
lol let's get Legless! 👎🏻
Air without the stupid goggles is freakin’ awesome, Oblivion is too short but fun, Rita is fast but pretty rubbish for a coaster and way too short. Smiler is great, thirteen is my favourite but needs a revamp and yes the whole park needs a lot of investment, especially into the hotels in my opinion.
I received this email from Alton towers with a bold. “You’ve been Chosen” txt thinking I had got something for free but no I was chosen to pay for a ticket to Alton Towers. Aren’t I lucky lol
I agree, after re-reading my comment I can see how it came across more aggressive than I meant. I know people with such conditions as you mentioned and didn't mean to cause any offence. Sometimes text never conveys meaning as well as saying it in person.
Thanks AMO just ordered (y) 55 each is a good deal even if you pay 10 extra for fireworks it's still cheaper than a merlin pass if AT is the closest attraction and the others are hours away . I hope all the negative jokers on here stay clear of this place then the ques won't be as long for the rides (lol)
Alton Towers have confirmed that for this season, its the price for the entire season.
How much london sea life ticket at gate for adult?
Just picked up a couple from Tesco. Noticed most of the bottles there did not have the offer (identical bottles but without the offer), so they'll probably run out soon. Also, price has gone up to £1.80 now.
Used this deal in the summer - just emptied the soap into another liquid soap container and took the empty with me. Saves a decent amount so well worth it
Indeed it is :). Fixed the typo to £0.90p
£90 expensive soap
In the past we've stayed at http://www.sandybrook.co.uk/ , which is near Ashbourne half an hour away from Alton Towers, or http://www.darwinforest.co.uk which is near Matlock, a bit further away but better facilities on site. Both run by the same company
Which park is that? Does it have a link
We stay in a nearby holiday park and always get either vouchers out of the newspapers or use tesco club card points
I fail to see where the discount is
The Hotel accommodation is grossly overpriced, we go to Alton Towers every year and always stay nearby in a Premier Inn for around £50 per family room. Looking forward to the New Wooden roller coaster opening next year, about time they started investing in the actual theme Park.
the prices have been slowly creeping up year on year since the 80s, its just the way it is but merlin passes are still amazing value for money. If you have a family that likes theme parks then I would definitely recommend them even with the increases and extra restrictions. Its worth also saying that the water park winter stays although £20 extra this year at £130 for friday night are excellent value too. The £130 includes a nights stay for 2 adults and 3 kids in the cbeebies land hotel, breakfast in the morning and all day access to the water park. Compare this to £63 for access to blackpool sandcastle or £58 for waterworld stoke, both of which are no where near as good it works out 60/70 for a night in the hotel, evening ents ant breakfast in the morning its not bad. .
So expensive though. They’re making huge cuts across the resort so the end user, the guest gets a bad experience. Pass holder for many years here, and it’s progressively getting worse.
I got 2 bottles to go to sealife with but it says on the packet to take the product with us, does that mean we have to take a full bottle of hand soap to give them in exchange for half price tickets? If I took the back label off would that be okay?
It's sam_of_london territory almost.
I presented facts, without bias. Calm down!
Get over yourself captain obvious. I never said they were not safe, so no idea why you bothered with that drivel. Just sharing my experience of the place last week, comparing it to sveral years ago to now.
Looks like we have a typical Daily Mail reader over here. The rides are incredibly safe, with an almost impeccable safety record. Nemesis is an old coaster which is thoroughly reviewed and checked on a daily basis. If the ride goes down (or Tec), Technical Services come over, check it, fix it and run empty trains BEFORE any guests is allowed on board. The noises are perfectly normal. Galactica on the other hand, is not so much the ride hardware, it's the VR headsets & systems causing untold problems.
Yup - Went up this morning apparently. Have expired. Thanks.
Seems to have gone back up to £120 now
It's a -little- bit funny. Mostly because that practically breaks down every day so they should've expected this to happen.
Also, does anyone know if you buy it online today whether you can use it tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday) or do they need a few days to process it?
Do you walk straight through with a pass? I remember buying tickets for Legoland - you queue to pick up the tickets and that can take an hour. I assume Alton Towers can be the same?
Just booked, thanks for the help :D
I have paid £159 for holiday inn includes breakfast
Thank you for the help. We are looking to book amin August time. Waiting to see a good deal.
We just had a break at the splash landings for a family of four on Thursday with breakfast and entry to park for 145 we did book quite a bit before.
Depending on the date Holiday inn Stafford which is 26 miles away is £155 Holiday inn stoke on Trent is 17 miles and £187 Scroll further down the list for more options. The splash landings hotel is reasonable for £219 in my opinion but you'll probably want to add swimming passes too which will bump up the price.
