All Short Break Discounts, Offers and Sale - July 2018
Any deals on THAT car
Yes, I found it 18 lines in. Why don't you just put it in the headline? As a Mod I thought you should demonstrate best practice. Are you concerned that it would look less attractive or something?
I guess they want it in the title...
My wife called and someone answered quickly and told her they are really busy and if she leaves her name and number they will call back in a couple of hours.
Yup, quite difficult to get someone to answer, apparently there's not enough staff and they need to deal with customers that also want to check-in at the hotel, hence the reason why they're not picking up straight away. Your best guess would be after 9PM...
Jeez...i already have the vowcher. if I can't find the dates I want I will just cancel the vowcher and get a refund. But no one is answering on that number..
I've managed to book a day in July by calling the hotel, number listed on Google ending in 500. It was quite a lengthy process, I might add, as I called once to check for available dates before purchasing the voucher and after that a few times to confirm the booking and give them card details too. Hopefully it's all ok, although I had to call again to ask for a confirmation email, however still not received after 3 hours. Will call again probably.
Anyone knows how to book the hotel as no one is answering on the number listed on Google. Is the only way calling the 084 numbeR?
I've done the North Sea 4 times in the last year, but via the Stenna Line, and have always found it totally fine and so did my friends - but people handle sea travel differently and with it traveling across further north this boat may be worse. If you're London or elsewhere, and you don't like flying, just take the Stenna Line from Harwich, get a train to Amsterdam and then book a hotel stay for 2-3 nights. It's a wonderful city and needs much more than a day to appreciate - less than a day would just be frustrating. It's a expensive city to eat drink and stay in though, so I suppose in terms of 'going for the sake of it' and it being cheap, I guess this is a good deal.
15% Quidco could track too.
Just park your car at Royal quays shopping centre in North Shields,it's only a few mins walk to the ferry terminal & it's free
Lol you should have stayed at home by the sounds of it. It's not that bad, all part of the hustle and bustle of a trip to London. I enjoyed the train ride from there, got chatting to a elderly guy from the West Indies. Really interesting guy, by the time he got off I had his life story and we shook hands as he departed into that London.
Again it's 30 to 40 minutes on the Tube to central London. I was in Wembley for a concert at the weekend, I wouldn't shout about the shopping it's pretty crap.
Really, it's 30 to 40 minutes on the tube, which is fine if that's your preference!
I know that feeling! Airbnb is pretty good though. But prices hike during holidays as with everywhere.
Travelodge still works out cheaper for me in London :)
Indeed, Interesting that the hotel has not responded to the last 4 reviews either .
The recent reviews, plus the low price, is somewhat concerning. Makes me wonder if the hotel is struggling.
Going to book but Trip advisor reviews changed my mind :S
1991 for me - 4 different Unis there the same week - carnage! - but a great week
Thanks OP. Got the helicopter city tour for £59 reduced from £129.
Thanks for posting. I have taken advantage of two nights and afternoon tea. Cheaper than travel lodge! Cheers
don't forget 3% TCB on top!
Always buy these things direct with the venue. The agents inevitably charge extra and provide less flexibility.

The warrington site is run down, tacky as hell and needs lots of TLC to get it looking great however my kids (6 and 4) loved it. They talk about it more than CBeebies land and DLP. Kids don't notice the aesthetics, they just enjoy the rides and attractions and this place has loads for the young ones to do. I always felt safe on the rides. We took a picnic so I can't comment on the catering.
Not a bad offer, not great mind. Paid £139 last year for the safari tent, a different 'resort i agree' but from what I've seen I'm not sure this is worth £40 more :-/
Thanks for sharing op, good saving. But I would suggest people have a look first on Trip advisor before booking https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g187055-d659402-Reviews-or10-Gulliver_s_Land-Milton_Keynes_Buckinghamshire_England.html Gulliver world is very run down and not fit for purpose and has lots of bad reviews on trip advisor. This one may be better. Gullivers world Gullivers land appears to be better rated
Free glass of cider on arrival?
Not that you’d go through Yeovil to get to Hazelbury Mill, Yeovil is just not an exciting place. But it is the nearest decent town centre as Crewkerne, the nearest town is an experience most would rather forget. If you’re lucky, and stay at the mill, you might get a music night. The owner (if it’s still Roger Bastable) knows Jools Holland very well and often hosts some decent up and coming blues or jazz musicians. It’s also well known as a wedding and honeymoon destination. It’s location is within reach of tourist attractions such as the famous coastal town of Lyme Regis, some great national trust sites such as Montacute house, and of course, cider farms galore all over the county.
Is Yeovil a nightmare for traffic.....or just not a very nice place?
75 quid a night seems a lot for Somerset to me. But after looking at the pictures I suppose it's a good deal if your a girl, or getting a present for a girl, or trying to get somewhere with a girl.. or can't think of a better present for a girl.. When does this offer expire?
I had my prom there a few years back. Very nice place. Good price too for a short break. AVOID YEOVIL at all costs.
Thanks for sharing this. Just what we need.
Wow thank you everyone for posting those great deals :D :D :D
@wishihadadonkey this app is a brilliant thing to use for days out etc. I posted it a short while back, but seems relevant now with the 6 weeks upcoming... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.hoop.android
Any nice beaches anyone is willing to share locations of? If they're near children's play areas, plus other activities all the better. Pm if you you don't want to share with all and sundry (lol)
Excellent post @wishihadadonkey
Thanks a lot for your info, Keefcat. We have booked Hilton as the pool looks bigger and nicer from the picture (cheeky) and will see how it goes. Will also try the Grove Farm pub if time allows as it looks nice and not far away from Hilton either.
We stayed at the Leicester Marriott, kids were given lots of treats and loved the pool. We ate dinner at the Grove Farm pub across the road
Lololol!!! Let me rephrase... can one ADULT ticket be used for a 14 year old. It's just me and my 3 children.
Which hotel did/do you stay/recommend? All look pretty good, so hard to choose :/ . Thanks.
Bought for the bank holiday weekend. Lets hope it doesn't start raining cats and dogs
I used to go there when it was a school for summer club , how things have changed !
If you want somewhere with great spa facilities look else where. Was here for a weekend and the pool gym and spa area is really really dated. It was also the coldest pool I have ever tried only got in because my partner dared me. Everything else was great though, amazing house and grounds. Great for wedding or event but just the worst place to consider for a spa day.
Hmm. TripAdvisor isn't too kind. It's £79 on all the referral sites listed there, in case you have further discounts for those instead.
Stayed here a bunch of times, can confirm it's great.
Well, definitely not cheap. we are talking about london - lake distance right?
For next week, I can see £109 / person return
So, how much? I am just about to visit the lakes
Getting there is what will really hurt your wallet - Virgin trains!
Oooo my town, when you get a wuntu code meet me up in Costa coffee ;)
Not too bad after the refurb a couple years ago. Not been there for almost a year though.
Unless it's changed much in the past year I'd say this is about as much as it is worth. I stayed here a lot for work, some of the rooms are awful so it's a bit of pot luck when you get given a key. The superior rooms are ok though so worth upgrading to if it's not much more.
Code not working for me, but still a good price.
Great find, hot from me. Shame I can't take advantage though or I would booked (fierce) Might be worth adding the code TRIP2018 ends at midnight tonight so get it booked prior to then (y)
This is not a freebie.
Does anyone know if the £33 credit pp towards dinner is each night if more than one night is booked?
Ye same for me. Nothing is available grrrrr
It keeps saying all dates unavailable for me. Anyone else having any luck?
Thank you - booked one night for the summer
