Great deal. Thanks.
All Short Break Discounts, Offers and Sale - November 2018
Think the statement that it’s close to Birmingham is a little exaggerated... it’s like saying Luton is in London...
Just don't expect much if you actually walk around Kidderminster... close to Worcester though which is a nice place to have a wonder around :)
Nice hotel, I've stayed here a couple of times. Close to the Safari park.
Literally no dates available (embarrassed)
'tis an amused mouth (literally). They're a taster for the chefs approach to cuisine, evidently and served with wine. Can't say it appeals to be honest, just bring on the mains!
I'll have to look up 'amuse bouche' 😏
Lincoln best avoided over Christmas market weekend. It used to be nice but now ludicrously overcrowded and not much fun unless you like spending hours queueing!
Christmas market weekend sold out! (annoyed)
Booked many thanks EDIT looking at the menu online £30 should just manage a 3 court meal without drink
Up the hill to the Cathedral area is nice.
Have stayed at Lincoln Hotel - very close to the cathedarl. Heat added
I’d recommend centreparcs. It’s on your doorstep but feels like your miles away on holiday!
I live in Eastwood and believe me, I wouldn't recommend the town to anyone!. The hotel is OK though.
What a dump, I’d never go there again.
Have stayed here, the rooms are not in the hall shown but in more modern-ish conference blocks at the back and side... when we went (same time Michael Portillo was filming his Rail program) there was two weddings on and so guests had no where to go and relax - only thing open was one of the (noisy and nightmarish) wedding bars - would never ever stay in that place again!
Looks nice. Great area too!
Ahhh hope you enjoy it! :)
Booked, thanks spot on for my b'day
I understand the hotel check in/out times but what about arrival and departure times for using their facilities? I’m confused, are we only allowed to be there 3pm-10am
Great... but it looks like the animal village is closed on all those dates??
No good for children as they will be at school midweek.
Theme park is closed at that time however
Yeah, stay there so you don't bother me on my holidays.
This deal has now expired (unfortunately). Keep an eye out for after the New Year deals
I'm just trying to book this deal as I went last year and enjoyed it (last night of the illuminations) but when I look at each date there is no mention of the deal including dinner. Any clues what I am doing wrong?
(excited) well done (y) 🏼
There's just never an opportunity to shoehorn a reference in. I literally have to crowbar em in... I wanna be Bob Dylan. Lmao
Heat for the counting crows quote 😁
We always used to have a cheeky night in a travelodge on Christmas Eve (before we had kids)... worked out cheaper than getting a taxi home!
I think this is a brilliant deal...especially if you're visiting family that don't live close to you. I'm not a big Christmas fan, we dont really celenrate...so a couple nights away with me n my 2 boys over that period would be lovely ;)
If no one books these dates over Christmas, some extra staff who work there might get extra time off (cheeky)
Christmas in a travelodge? Depressing.
I noticed (through editing your search criteria!) that Cardiff is also really cheap for 23rd-24th December ... hope that helps someone!
Thought the breakfast at this hotel was amazing. Heck even the porridge was best I've ever tasted.
I am from Durham and love my "normal" accent. The hotel is very nice, 2 min walk from the main city areas. Parking is not too expensive on the road and free after 6pm. yes building works next door, but not at night and weekends - so not an issue. Some view from the hotel overlook the cathedral and castle - alt - walk out the the hotel - cross the foot bridge and walk 8 mins.
Daft question but does anyone know if you can book 2 nights at this price per night?
What an idiot , Accents make the area you are visiting even more enjoyable. Durham is a beautiful place and one I would have no problems visiting again .
Durham locals have a very normal sounding accent and easy to understand unlike some other accents in the northeast. One of the Most beautiful little place in NE. Very rich in culture. It's a shame they are modernising the city
Kids go Free on on site stays :)
Cold, I want to sleep in the castle!
I'd probably say no tbh but worth checking with the hotel you want to stay at just in case.
Does any one know if it's possible to convert this to two rooms one night?
day off school maybe? wont effect your little one trying to become a scientist or whatever they want to be ;)
Does Victor know about this?
Yep, great deal for anyone with 3 or 4 year olds. Other ages, not so much.
All term time dates
from what I read of the reviews, the no window rooms are not even ventilated!!...even if you could handle the smell of them you could get really sick sleeping in there.
sold out for the dates i want
Never did a Yorkshire man say... We sunbathe all year round.
Neverrrr! Dont like cold. I wear a jumper in mlst of the summer.
I'm from near Leeds it's not that bad! Man up as one would say. ;)
False advertising - this hotel is not in the Peak District, it's in the Manchester commuter town of Bollington. Cold.
We stayed there a few weeks ago and had a lovely view.........of a brick wall ! As would the other half dozen rooms on the ground floor on that side of the corridor .
Huh, I have taste thank you, I only drink Asti as it's so dry.
You could always ask for a glass of black tower as a substitute - tell them you’re allergic to bubbles?!
I'd have gone for this if you hadn't mentioned prosecco.
Not too impressed with the menu.. otherwise looks a good deal
Isn't 'Martin Mere' nearby, that's worth a visit. Also there used to be a Sunday Antique fair in area, get there early for the bargains.
There's some miserable people. How about rivington? They even have a go ape. There is Cuerden valley, yarrow valley. Some nice restaurants not too far away. Foot golf and karting not far off. I quite like it round here. There is a canal not too far off with pubs a plenty.
It’s not too far away from Martin mere wetlands. Cannot think of another reason to spend any time here
Blackpool is nice and next to the zoo. Bury is in a great location to see manchester and a decent hotel/restaurant too.
Glasgow and Newcastle are both decent glasgow one is only 2 or 3 years old.
Brilliant thanks, just booked the pompey 1... Need to crash 1 night prior to Southampton cruise. Perfecto... Thanks to poster. 😁
Can't complain for this price. However the food is awful
Stayed a load of times at Newcastle and the rooms are clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds and full Satellite TV (club rooms only). For the price they are brilliant.
