The whole country could be locked down for the foreseeable future. Alton towers might be forced to close for the year. This is a bit of a gamble
My thoughts exactly, it's why they are advertising it now, sure it was £54 last Yr
Won’t all theme parks be all closed this coming week ?
Likely to closed during the months you would want to go...
Mmmm is the water park like center parcs?
U want to send me 125£ lol i dont mind free koney XD
I think you're talking pish, mate.
From £204 for me when i looked
No but it does to the water park on one day
Yeah so basically, because it's black Friday it's a deal. If it wasn't then it wouldn't be.
Its £10 cheaper for Black Friday hence the "deal"
Not sure this is a deal this is usual now
Go 3 times or more over the year and it’s worth getting the premium for the parking alone. Good for solo guests like myself whose mates aren’t into or can’t hack rollercoasters.
They don't Lego (KIRKBI Invest) own all of the Merlin group now. ;)
No, they changed it for 2020. Parking is usually £6 per car. Parking was previously only included on the Merlin premium pass. Thanks for flagging the deal. I was only considering paying the full price a few minutes before you posted this for three of us as a Christmas present . :D
How much is parking out of interest? Thanks
No, because they employ the British Teenagers to work and run it. It’s just a job and so we will never get a good customer experience. Add to that the fact no maintenance or cleaning is done in the parks until it becomes unsafe or dilapidated in order to save money. Merlin just want maximum profit from as little input as possible. I’m hoping we’ll start to see a change of ethics in the park now that Lego Group have bought out Merlin, but not holding my breath. saying all of that though, we’re still going next Thursday. Expectations are always low, but hopefully there’ll be no queues and the more rides we get on will increase our enjoyment of the day
We went in February with a 2 year old and a 6 year old, it was amazing! So much to do, you can go earlier and join in all the activities, we could have stayed for days and still had things to do, shows, activities, meet and greets, Lego to play with in the food areas, arcades, competitions, a movie theatre (not quite a cinema but good enough) then there's crazy golf, the Sea life centre, water park all included in the price! Even after checkout you can stay as long as you like
true...when i went for santa sleepover in 2015, christmas buffet dinneR was included in the price, now it is not
not sure about the alton tower, but so far cbeebies land keep adding new attraction, 1-2 every year
Just put in all my details 2 adults 1 11yo for Saturday 30th November and it came back with £165. How is that £35pp??
Does that include scarefest? Also I assume that they are 50% off Full at the gate price? You cant use online or anything?
I went yesterday and it is just before the ques for the tickets. You simply put a bottle in and it prints a ticket there I then. I then went to buy the tickets and got 50% off
Is this before or after some bugg3r has paid full price. Good incentive, otherwise the 50% saving can be had through numerous 2 for 1 offers.
I won this last year and it was amazing I will definitely be booking to this year
I don’t know for sure but because yours had a referral is involved it might had read like you were advertising for people to pm you for a referral without stating so. I don’t think the site has an issue with you copying text directly from the website were the deal is from as I often copy and paste text
Booked this a few days ago, brilliant package I would have spent a lot more on a panto, meal and meeting Santa etc. From past experience Alton Towers tend to do things very well so we’re looking forward to this
I’ve booked it at this price. Splash Landings resort has it at this price.
I recently had a post removed for an energy company that had low prices and gave a £50 referral discount to both parties (I wasn't chasing referrals) because "it read like an advert" How the hell does this not read as an advert?????
Time based like they used to do for free , i remember that well, went to the ride entrance and you were given a ticket with a time slot , now its just greed like everyting else Merlin :(
90 minutes wait time for a single ride just killed my desire to ever go back there
Does the Premium Merlin Pass give fast track access to all rides (where available) in all attractions or it something that would cost extra?
I'm assuming it's because they can't say "Your disability isn't as bad as X person's disability " With how crazy protected disability rights and equality etc is in this country (which is a good thing overall), it's probably just easier for them to allow it, which sucks for us 'normal' people who work hard to pay for it and then have to queue hard to get onto rides. And the people who apparently have Epilepsy can get disability benefits money and disability benefits at theme parks. I say apparently btw because I've known plenty of (younger) people who have either massively played on their Epilepsy (pretended to have seizures etc) or pretending to have it at all. Which is horrible for the people who genuinely have it and suffer awful seizures on a day-to-day basis.
You’re right, but here’s a question: why would having epilepsy prevent a person from being able to queue?
Had a great time at Alton Towers with kids, great deal. Shame about the hard sell when I called Times to cancel, but I guess the guy gets paid to try! (embarrassed)
Yeah i got the same hard sell. I also phoned back up to make sure they send me a confirmation of the cancellation, but ill be sure to keep an eye on the statement.
I also did and got a little bit of a hard sell to continue with the subscription. More worryingly, a couple of days after cancelling they took 84p via paypal, and I had to call again to find out what happened and apparently the cancellation "hadn't gone through correctly". Still waiting for this money to be refunded and hoping that they won't take anything more!
Dont forget to phone and cancel subscription, benefits will continue until purchased period ends. Just did mine
Ok. Thanks for letting me know.
There is no voucher, you just have to take a rubber duck with you. If you are going - today is the last day it will work :)
how do i get the voucher plese
It's a con, they haven't made rubber ducks for the last 20 years. They are all vinyl now.
So, the 'car' parks going to be stuffed then?
The perfect shop (lol)
Sorry what’s the code
i am at the checkout and i can't see where to enter the code
Thanks, yeah we did that, we're here today and tomorrow! No queue at all to pick up the tickets either :)
You can do all these online, and collect on the day (like i did) from the collection booths. In fact, i think the only way to get the guest passes (upto 4 i think) is online.
Thanks for this suggestion. I was going to use the Mcdonalds 2for1 vouchers until I read it. This is definitely cheaper :)
Really appreciate a couple of codes if possible
Hey guys, anyone got a code they could spare me. Thanks
I have one but need another due to larger group
Anyone got a free code for me please
Just checked they have posted it to Facebook today. I have updated the title to reflect that it now excludes weekends
Thats really bad they should mention excluding weekends if that’s the case. Very misleading of them
Not available on weekends though, a few people on fb messaged them and they confirmed
Does it mean you have to buy tickets at the gate? We wanted to visit this place several times and it was always fully booked even online.
Yes it looks like it from the policy. 1 adult for the 3 year old and 1 adult to supervise both the 6 and 9 year old
Ah they must be new packets as the terms and conditions on the website says 31st July 2019. Still, 2020 is even better 8)
Packet I have just picked up, the deal expires 31/7/2020 - so good for quite a while!
Voucher valid until 31st July 2019, there's no way the packs are only available until the end of May, they're still available in literally almost any shop I go in that sells chocolate
Yes The website says the packs are available until the end of May.. Guess there might be some hanging around...Off hunting I go...
Most good shops (and some rubbish ones too) should sell the promotional packets. No need to send any forms off, just cut the voucher out from the packaging, take it to the selected attraction you're going to, buy a full price adult ticket and you should then get an additional free ticket
Just booked! thank you all
Beware that they shut all rides @4pm Crazy yes I know but went yesterday and waiting times for the big rides was -45-80 mins and 2 of them were closed
I think its a great deal, I regularly visit Alton Tower this way, get a deal on the hotel like this direct through their site, and then for the park tickets do the many 2 for 1 offers off cereal packets, crisps etc OR Tesco club card voucher exchange where you get 3 times your value of points. Otherwise your talking £2/£3 hundred if booking for 4 people and doing the whole hotel/ticket package with Alton Towers direct
I also called the hotel they do two day park passes for £33. This is only for customers staying in the hotel.
We have a 4 hour trip there so we normally stay over the night before and after the first day then have two full days in the park. Plus getting there on an afternoon/evening you can also get some time in the waterpark too.
Problem with this is, better to buy at the very beginning of the season as it always only last until the end of the season and the price doesn’t change
Thank you for the heads up op i get corporate So not £70 but £63 per person
Probably because only a minority of people go to one theme park multiple times a year? So even if it is a good price it will only be good for a small number of people.
This should be a lot hotter than what it is. Amazing how this site is run. No consistency at all.
Good price and the photo pass is a nice bonus Thanks for sharing @trebor (y)
where do you input the discount code - I cant find anywhere to do this?
Thanks so much, you've saved us a packet! Heat from me :)
Cheers just booked a 2 night break with water park added on. Big saving compare to normal price
Are’ll be looking into this code thanks for posting (y)
Prices for holiday inn even are exorbitant!! Cheaper to go direct. Don’t believe the marketing hype this is 40% of rack rates
Can I ask how you've created spreadsheet?
I know there's a discount code/link for Chessington hotel with sun savers. Does anyone know what it is? I found it once but can't find it again.
Any deals for Flamingo Land please?
Yes search up Alton towers on here and go to booking via the sun offer or 40% off and type the codes in.
Want to book Alton tower splash landing resort on 22 June. Any tips for discount.
It's perhaps not such a great deal as you pay the On The Day price and that could be £16.50 instead of the online price of £9.90. If it's 2for1, that's £16.50 instead of £19.80 so a saving of £3.30 or £1.65 each. Buy 1 Get 1 half price might only save 70p. You have to queue up and faff about to make that minimal saving.
Hi I've already booked my tickets would I be to get some money back if I took this or not
Has anyone used this at Alton towers? Do you get given the season pass as if you had paid full price?
Does this also give 2 for 1 entry to the waterpark at alton towers? Thank you in anticipation.
Oh nice! That’s cool :) You should post it! (unicorn)
