Not really. A lot of people would focus on the initial cost and think bigger is better without considering the long term running costs (I know I did). This would be 50% higher for a 6 person rather than a 4 person, plus the space required is larger and the time to heat up is slower. Unless you have a large family or regular gatherings then a smaller model is a better choice.
How will the driver get this in the back of his Vauxhall Corsair.
Changes the price to £238.00
It rains for free.
1 litre of water costs less than 1p. If you have a water meter, we charge you for every cubic metre of water you use. 1 cubic metre equals 1,000 litres of water, and this costs around £3. - united utilities website
The photo looks good with company of all those beautiful ladies.. until I saw the same one lying deflated in the loft
Bought a Palm Springs last year and love it, crossed my mind it might be slightly chavvy but I feel the palm springs looks ok in the garden in it’s beige colour and actually it’s so lovely who gives a .... I enjoy a soak after a work out, the kids love it, it’s lovely in the cold and equally on a sunny hot day, we don’t run ours all the time, only when we plan to use turn on to heat up in enough time, ours does 2 degrees an hour, filter can get dirty up but that’s it’s job! Change a lot more if it’s being used loads especially in groups/kids etc, we manage the chemicals closely always test before getting in, we don’t get out much so don’t mind a bit of outlay as it’s our luxury.
I used to know a hot tub guy who worked for Forest Holidays but gave it up after having to literally fish shit out of them too many times. Disgusting.
Smaller models are around 1000l of water, so cost less to heat and fill, this one is 1500L. You can also get models with timers that you can set so they do the temp over night and then heat up again ready for the set time. The time to heat is more annoying than cost, as they auto shut off after 3 days and if you forget you can be waiting 1-2 hours per degree. So a large hot tub would take up to 5 hours just to go from 30 degree to 38 degrees. You can also make/buy enclosures to go round them that if you insulated would help in winter. Water changes are still needed (unless you get quite scientific with the chemicals) but you could get away with 3+ months with just controlling the pH, chlorine and total alkalinity. So my answers 1=950-1500 liters to fill depending on model, 2=3-4 months, 3= £30 a month of you use it regularly. (You could save a fair bit if you use solar or economy 7 if you get a model with a timer, or do it manually)
I bought one of these at the end of last year. I've not had a Lay z Spa so I can't compare but I'm happy with the one I bought
This is from studio, so the one thing you can guarantee is that it'll be worse than the lowest quality product you've ever seen available anywhere else (y)
I purchased one and it stopped working after a few months,Do not waste your money the company who makes them the aftercare is rubbish !!!
These any good? I'm sending my Lay z Spa back next as its all gone out of shape and was looking for an alternative, ideally after the Intex ones that Aldi are selling but out of stock everywhere I've checked
Knew a girl like that once...... Called her the Tardis
Not at all, The unit slots in from underneath. Greatly positive comment, Well done!.
Yeah, so when that breaks you can throw the whole thing away in one easy bundle.
Lol Very good gave me a good laugh. I see this man not so slow. Has the black out sheds on aswell. And letting on to be looking at his sprite LOL
I bought one of these last year. I'd recommend it. What I like about this model compared to most of the La-z-boy hot tubs is that the controller / heater / thingy is built into the wall of the hot tub and doesn't stick out of the side. Very compact and but spacious enough inside.
Like a bottle of prosecco that you give as a gift.
I read that in the voice of Heather Small! :D
good luck finding a date after you buy groupon. that's usually *one of* the problem(s) with groupon type of deals.
Village hotels also has this offer on on Saturdays and £65 On Friday's but without breakfast
One night in Bangkok ?? One night in heaven? could be who knows, and these people pick fault with our posts! ;)
Please put location in headline!
Ah ok, sorry it didn't work for you.
Yes. It is a local deal I normally buy when I get a discount code. It is stating it cannot be used with my account
Are you sure you were trying to use the code on a 'Local Deal' and not one of the other categories?
I did hence why I stated it was account specific!
Not for me
When I first got my PARIS spa I used to fill it with cold water, let it heat up over night and run for a month at a time (easy with clean filters and chemicals) my electric bill went up about 15 quid a week..... I soon discovered the best way to use this was fitting a HOT outside tap and filling from the combi boiler to 40degC using it for a weekend and then emptying it and refilling when needed - saved me ££££
Fantastic deal. Now I just need someone to walk my staffie and wash my camouflage trackies from JD while I smoke a spliff and drink lambrini while the kids are at school
It is a lot but so worth it.. I use mine middle of may (weather depending) till Oct. £40 a month is using it roughly everyday and having the bubbles on for a good hour solid I think.. It all depends how often you use it..
How do you know this guy doesn't have it on 24 hours per day. Don't just base it on him. I own one and use it twice per week roughly and my leccy has gone up by about £10
Wow... That's a lot of leccy to run it! I've had finger on the buy button a few times for these but now I know ow that it's a definite No!
Last bit is easy; Toilet water.... (cheeky)
Who can pronounce its name?
Very good find pal! Hopefully it’s nationwide, will take a look tomorrow.
is it me or is it cold in here ?
just bought 24 for £39.95 on ebay
(worth £35) depends on you point of view really.
Great set and the vase base is good for flowers from the garden. I got it at christmas.
haha, we have the Vegas - if you manage to squeeze 6 adults in there, you better be really well acquainted! A friend has the Miami and it's about 200mm smaller in diameter. Its easier to get 4 in the miami than 6 in the vegas, that's for sure.
The Miami at B&M seats 4 people, and the Vegas at Homebase seats 6 people.
Not sure If this helps anyone on a budget. But b&m selling one £280.00 not sure how it differs to the one shown above...
Not sure what tariff she was on, costs a fraction of that, for me around 50p a day. I got in the habit of switching it off overnight and then back on in the morning as didn't lose much temperature and didn't take long to get back up to speed.
my daughter loves this stuff.
Ordered 2 thanks

This would be more of a bargain if they threw in a spa treatment.
Worth adding to description that although towel hire is included robes and slippers are £7 per person to rent.
Not sure about any of the others but chesford grange was an absolute dump when we stayed there. Paid quite a bit to stay for a friends wedding, and we had nothing but problems. The spa was filthy and tiny, with kids running around everywhere and splashing about in the pool (I know that’s what kids do, I just didn’t expect it in a place marketed as a spa). We ended up complaining. Might be a reason some of these are cheap!
Once you buy from groupon, you phone the spa and they ask for a code when booking?
Got it, must be 16 or older
It's lovely Katherine l am sure you will love it
Ordered thank you going to give it a try :D
Should do Jenny lol but the way l use it .........
It was my mum that introduced me to it :) makes me feel sleepy even now and my sister is an Avon rep so a stick pile of 10 should get me through 6 months lol
Does this work on children (lol)
To defend yourself against blackpool chavs? (ninja)
Code says expired when try and use it?
I live in Lytham and having used the facilities at the Lindum a few times and having read the comments so far I can only add, 1. St Annes and Lytham are two separate towns. Many confuse the two, but are completely different. St Annes is closer to Blackpool. 2. The Lindum is a bit stayed, a hotel for the older generation. Its family owned and the staff are OK, but it is what it is. Personally, I would look elsewhere along the St Annes Prom for a hotel with a bit more life. Its no too difficult to get deals for St Annes hotels as they usually have vacancies. If this type of hotel is what you want, its OK and the deal is very good.
This is St Annes rather than Lytham. St Annes is nowhere near as nice as Lytham, it's a bit more like Blackpool. I used to live halfway between the two places. Still, its a good deal if you like St Annes! And Lytham is just 5 mins drive away.
