£23 if you have a Blue Light Card

steveieboy1

Not really, it's what a HUKD member does to save £7!

bbsutton

LOL , a bit extreme

bbsutton

we are in this situation, it was just cheaper to buy two preschooler adult ticket

steve_hn

Thanks but not quite what I had in mind. Also I don't need to get an extra baby in! What I was really asking is does anyone know if there are any other offers out there on an extra adult ticket?

As per the website, if your kid is under 1m whilst wearing shoes, why would you want to pay more? Now, if you were asking that your kid is over 1m and whether its worth chancing it, I would say 'No'. XD

Tzahi

Wasn't asking for the Wisdom of the crowd but rather the crowd's past experience.

RT1982

Erm...you know this isn’t the chat function of the Theme Park don’t you? Just a suggestion but maybe worth asking them rather than this forum .... horses mouth and all that.

Tzahi

For day ticket, we have two kids but one is under 1m so do we need to buy a "family of 3" ticket (£104)? Since "Children under 1 metre (when wearing shoes) and wheelchair dependant guests do not require a date specific ticket and go free."

RT1982

Peppa....is that you??

isn’t it called supply and demand ? off peak is always cheaper , it’s just the way it is unfortunately

mkh212

So true. This is a loop hole where these companies make money! It seriously needs to stop!!

paulwmather

My experience exactly and another was £800. Still only 1 day ticket.

paulwmather

Cannot get it anywhere near that price. £800 for a weekend and even then it specifies only 1 day ticket. Terrible setup.

Gez2u

Short answer is no - Alton Towers & Thorpe Park are similar in terms of ratio of 'Adults' vs 'Kids' rides & attractions. Chessington is definitely more aimed at Kids / Families....

I see. I get how that could be a pain. It is a chance we take going to places like these during a pandemic where indoor access is so restricted. I thought you meant that it was like a safari park & you weren’t allowed in the compounds in your vehicle (party)

youknowwho

Is the zoo ticket for the first or second day?

x-man

Nice on OP, booked!

Dan_82

Good shout :) Worth giving the hotel a ring direct and checking :)

SamH85

It was a cold day and most of the animals went inside. You couldn't go inside to see them but you could go into the gift shop which made no sense.

i went with my lads back in 2016. It was extremely tired looking. The miniature Lego display was all weathered. A lot of the rides kept breaking down. The staff weren't particularly enthusiastic. My youngest had more fun in the water park area at the end of the day than he did the rest of it. I would say, unless you have very young children (4-8) then I would avoid.

sallan02

I see thank you. I was hoping to book the whole package with my points

hsmith

If you book with https://booking.legolandholidays.co.uk then you get a free ticket. We simply booked to stay somewhere local cheaper and used the points to pay for our tickets

sallan02

Hi are you 100% percent sure I can book this package with tickets and hotel with club card vouchers? Just checking before I change over 100 quid in vouchers lol

Danglos

Voted hot as a deal but like the free Sun tickets I decided against as it is wear a mask at all times. I don't disgree as I'm someone who had to shield but the idea of queueing all day wearing a mask isn't fun!
