All Chessington Discounts, Offers and Sale - October 2018
I understand the hotel check in/out times but what about arrival and departure times for using their facilities? I’m confused, are we only allowed to be there 3pm-10am
Great... but it looks like the animal village is closed on all those dates??
No good for children as they will be at school midweek.
Theme park is closed at that time however
Yeah, stay there so you don't bother me on my holidays.
Thanks I shall take a look
Have you tried hotels in Morden, sutton and Croydon? They have transport links to Wimbledon and may be cheap.
Have u considered airbnb?
You are better off staying at the Premier Inn, its right next to the train station (trains are every half hour) and is virtually brand new and much nicer.
Sorry guys, wrong link, please ignore
Literraly just across the road. You usually get free parking in their car park when its not busy too
Great thank you exactly what I needed to k ow
I stayed there before as a base to visit Chessington and it was ideal for this purpose. We used to Overground to get to Chessington and it was 5 mins from tolworth and incredibly easy. We got the bus from Chessington south to save little legs. Tolworth itself was completely fine. There were shops and takeaway's locally so we could get food to take back to the hotel room. Yes, it's not the fanciest of places but we were only there to sleep rather than for a visit. The room itself was clean and fine for our purposes. (It was another cheap deal I found through this site for Chessington and accommodation). I'm so grateful for this site and how it's enabled us to afford trips away that we wouldn't otherwise. There's no pleasing some people though!
Great is there some nearby that you know of?
That's ok really don't care about what is around at that price get up the evening before, have some dinner and go to Chessington next day. £6.50 per person!
day off school maybe? wont effect your little one trying to become a scientist or whatever they want to be ;)
Does Victor know about this?
Yep, great deal for anyone with 3 or 4 year olds. Other ages, not so much.
All term time dates
Ice cream you need to get before 12 and you will get it! The merlin thing is annoying but runs out because the tickets are worth so much so guessing everyone wants them
I have given up, for two weeks tried for the London eye, Out of stock immediately, Waste of time, Same with ice cream Also Holland&Barrett I have given up. Really wanted the London Eye
Why risk it asking for codes which might not be accepted given so much freebies? Just top up a sim and off you go.
Happy to give out mine, PM!
If you ask them if I can give you my code as there might be a timer and they may look. Happy for you to have my code as I’m unfortunately not there then!
As above....does anyone know if there is one outside legoland?
anyone know if LEGOLAND Windsor has these machines prior to entering the park?
Hi guys, on Alton towers website they offer extra day for £7.50 if you buy one day entry at £41 so total of £48.50. Does anyone know if you can buy the extra day for £7.50 if you use the coke 50% voucher ?
I found the one at Alton towers by the entrance, but does Anyone know where the machine is at Thorpe park??
Half price is about correct price.
Damnit, I booked for the 9th-10th of August for £658 with my family, now it's £542. :\
Thanks Neo, I saved £58 with this
Any deal for 2A/1C?
Thanks Neo. Booked for July 29th as that’s the week we’re all on holiday.
It is the sad reality of life. The animals are there to make money for Chessy. Same way race horses are used to make money for their owners. If the horses get injured (so can no longer race) or are getting old (too slow),they get put down and end up in your burger. (shock)
I don't agree with the way they keep their animals, most of the enclosures are far too small
We took advantage of the Sun promo offer to get our 'free tickets' entry for 2 adults and 1 child. Our son who is 3 had an amazing time! :) We stayed overnight at Premiere Inn hotel which was only 10 minutes stroll to the theme park entrance. Whilst some rides we only waited 10 minutes to queue others were 45 minutes! Great family day out! The park is huge so probably would need more than 3 hours to do most rides etc. Some rides do have height restrictions, so double check before taking toddlers ;) The only ride that we noticed that was not running was the Forbidden Kingdom :(
Still a fun day out with the kids if u have the annual Merlin passes...yet I can understand some of the other comments here, considering the extortionate ticket prices I find it hard to fathom how a single visit to chessingtons or Legoland can be good value for money for a family day out. We got two summers out of our Merlin passes and really enjoyed ourselves. Really recommend it if other parents are thinking of buying one.
Chessy recycle most of their rides. :D I used to work @Chessy many moons ago,so I try to go back whenever I can. I was in Cheesy a couple weeks back. Their 'latest' ride for 2018 is Tiger Rock ie.Dragon River recycled to Dragon Falls recycled to Tiger Rock. :D Is still the same ride on the same water logs but it's been re-badged,they've put in some new fencing, supposedly a new tiger enclosure, they've got rid of the Dragons head to be replaced by guess wok...a tigers head. The 'new' Gruffalo ride last year is bascially the old Bubbleworks recycled.
I went yesterday, but the booth for this was closed all day. Anyone know if it’s only open weekends or something?
Just me i guess :( buggers
Does everyone else start 4.... and 6 digits long? Just checking they havnt given me a old one as saids not valid :(
Mine did not work. going to contact C/S . But mine was all numbers not sure if i have last years ones lol
I picked one up at Thorpe Park bank holiday Monday, got the guy to give me multiple free passes as well as the box (y)
Yes, posting all Wuntu deals onto one post saves 10 clicks on my mouse. (y)
Ah,sorry - didn't know you're new. Was only being tongue-in-cheek, anyway. As above, some people get irate if similar deals, same site are posted singularly. It does make it easier to see them all on one thread, though - and increase the chances of people voting hot, which results in more people seeing the thread and relevant deals.
Hi, @wewillrockyou.andrew it is up to members how they wish to post deals, however if you have lots of the same / similar offer such as this mega threads can be a good way to display them all in one post. Thanks for taking the time to share :)
Have I done something wrong? Sorry I'm new here...
Might as well have put all the Wuntu deals on the same post. You're asking to be quick frozen... :)
It never is I'm afraid. So unfair for families with school going aged kids, especially single parents or lower income families. Not everyone can afford these extortionate rates. Quite disappointing actually.
Yes they are, we get a Passholder discount and it is almost double the price at weekends and school hols even with that, hence why we have only done it once lol, it’s a lovely stay though, worth the experience
Arrive on the first day for park opening, you can either leave bags in the car or with hotel reception and enjoy the park all day, check in is from 3pm so if the park closes later (it’s never earlier than 5pm) you can check in later if you want to. You get your stay overnight then need to be out by 10am, out of the hotel though, not the park so again it’s bags in car early or just leave them with reception, keep in mind you will want to enjoy your breakfast and early park entry so getting bags out early is a good idea. We stayed in March and took our bags back to the car by 8am, had breakfast and were on park for the 9am entry, all your parking is free, they give you a voucher at check in. You need to book breakfast, it is free but it gets busy and is time slotted, swimming is the same and so are hotel restaurants if you want a lunch or evening meal, book them a week in advance, you don’t pay for meals unless you turn up and order and you can cancel your table if you change your mind. Also there is usually entertainment in the evening at the hotel and it’s fun so you might want to book any evening meal you want quite early so you don’t miss it. I wouldn’t worry about booking a themed room unless you really are that keen on it and want swimming included, we slept and showered in ours and yes it was lovely but there wasn’t much time to truly enjoy it so a basic room is plenty really, if you choose standard you will need to pay £3 per person for swimming though. We visit a lot but have only stayed over once, get menus from the website in advance and enquire at the hotel about the entertainment schedule for the night of your stay, the inclusive breakfast is very generous too, if you want to eat or drink during the daytime from any of the park food outlets it is cheaper to book meal deals and all day refillable drink bottles in advance, just go to the Chessington food and drink page, hope this helps
Erm....not that price for actual school holidays...
Very limited dates for me, not worth booking if kids at school.
Chessington Annual Pass restrictions: No entry into Chessington World of Adventures Resort every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout August 2018 or the 1st and 2nd September 2018.Entry during selected special events, including but not limited to Winter’s Tail, will require an additional fee.
Are there any limitations on this...seems to good
I disagree about the dreadful park part. I've been a couple of times in the past year and had a brilliant time. The glamping tents were amazing and I still love the water ride that was there when I was young! there's loads of new stuff though. great fun for families.
This is a good deal but wondered if it has the same restrictions as before so you couldn't come during school summer holidays and every Friday or something random like that? I'd still vote hot as it's a great day out and if you live locally then even better!
that is disgusting they pay you to park
Wow I've not been to Thorpe park in about 10 years. Parking used to be free! Cheeky
Not as bad as the £7 rogering you get at Thorpe park
£3 to park in the nice muddy field. They must make a fortune out of car park sales.
You have to pay extra for it. Forget how much it is.
Each code is for a specific day, the app knows which day you've entered a code for.
If they're unique codes can I buy 9 papers on the same day do you reckon?
I can't find a unique code at all in the paper!
Where is the code to scan?
No!!! every paper has a different code
I’ve got two paper tickets for the 20th May and need to swap for the 30th May. A long shot but if anybody can swap message me.
Hi anyone can help please I miss 2 codes to collect and it’s last day to book many thanks
All booked now, well 25mins ago, paypal working
I'm also having the same problem on step 3 of 3 for the payment. Tried different mobiles and a laptop but no luck. Anyone managed to make a booking today?
Is this suitable for a 4 year old was thinking of booking as a little treat for her in the summer prices are fantastic! Hot from me!
Booked perfect timing for my daughters 3rd birthday it was between this and Alton towers CBeebies both about same price but I think here there is a bit more to do like the zoo and the sea life centre
There were for our school holidays
Have some heat.... Booked a Friday & Saturday end of April £164
I booked for mid of Feb and think tickets is included. Sorry if wrong.
Yes its included. Just saying you dont have to stay of you want to go to the zoo or sealife.
Is the Zoo and Sealife not included?
But you can pay to go in to the zoo and sealife.
Not anytime no. The park is open from 10-3
If you stay on the friday, you get a saturday in the zoo and sealife, if you stay saturday you get both days. More tickets are not required.
Troy McClure would love this deal
what is this Merlin pass? is it worth getting it? thanks.
Has anyone thats been to these able to comment? Seeing as the park is closed is there enough to do to warrant the cost? I'm a Merlin pass holder so I get free entry anyway and want to see if its worth the + £100.
So do i...... :D
Great deal, I wished we lived a bit closer.
