I bought 4 tickets earlier and had to pay for selected dates and extra £7/8 per ticket. Couldn't see any dates that you didn't have to pay an extra charge for if I'm honest. Still the best offer I could find at around £29 a ticket. Cheers for posting and something to to bare in mind.

Following on from my purchase in November when I was told via email that my tickets included weekends, they upgraded my vouchers to peak ones. Even then, I was still charged an extra £2 per ticket for booking a weekend. All weekends were another £2 not just the one I chose.

So you pay for the cheap tickets and end up standing in a queue for hours for a ride so you end up paying for the fast pass and still stand in a queue. It’s becoming a bit of a scam and the basic tickets are like entry tickets now. If you want to go on the rides you’d need a fast pass.

That’s not necessarily the case, but it does depend on when you go. If you want to get on more rides and spend less time in queues then visit the park on quieter days during the week and avoid peak events like Scarefest or the middle of the summer holidays. Always get in to the park nice and early well so you can knock off a couple of rides at opening before the crowds start to build. (edited)

Car parks need to eat too!

It no doubt has a few premium rides. But it's looking decidedly tatty, and the parking situation regarding price is ridiculous. No sooner have you stepped out of your car and they've got their hands in your pockets for parking fees. Then, when you leave you have to queue with thousands of cars just to get out while 3 or 4 people manually check tickets. It's disgustingly insane and leaves a bad taste. In the year 2024, what's wrong with a bank of ANPR and a barrier(s) system to access on a pre-paid parking ticket. Chuck in some dank, wet, cold weather, and it's a god damn awful place, with 2 tier queuing that causes greater wait times whilst you munch on your overpriced, MSG ridden, deep fried, low grade food.

I assume the 25% topcashback will be refused due to using a discount code 😔

Has anyone used jamdonut to buy a gift voucher for spending at buyagift? (edited)

This won't be peak dates like Weekenda I imagine?

I used it on 27th July last year if that helps? Pretty busy time. Not sure that's top of peak though

How do you know what dates are applicable ? Doesn’t seem to be anything that confirms either way ?
    vickstar79's avatar
I bought one in November. Doesn't include weekends or summer. You pay £19 extra for that

The link leads to an Alton Towers offer, not a generic Merlin attraction offer.

    This is a scam.
Has anyone managed to convert their voucher for tickets?
I have tried and it will not let me. I have contacted customer services at Buyagift and they said I will need to repurchase new vouchers at a higher price then redeem the new voucher as the price has now increased. (edited)
