Good price for those looking to get into weights, not the heaviest weights I know before those comments start, but good especially considering the difficulty of getting any kind of sports equipment at present.

The Marcy 68kg (150lbs) Stack Home Gym system, is an ideal attribute to any home and will provide you with a complete body workout. The gym system is made up of a heavy duty 14-gauge steel tube frame. Protective stack covers can be found on the weights for added durability and safety. The tough frame can fully support the 68kg weights that are in constant motion.
This gym system comes equipped with a dual function arm press, adjustable bicep pad with roller pads, adjustable butterfly attachment, leg developer and a lat pull station. The press and vertical butterfly attachment are great for upper body exercises including chest and pec fly pressing. The lat bar is ideal for pulldowns which is designed to target both chest and back whilst building shoulder strength. The dumbells and weights are for bicep and with the added comfort of the preacher curl bicep pad it doesn't add unnecessary strain to your body.
You will never have an excuse to miss leg day again with this dual function leg developer. The pivot point is designed to align the knee joints when moving to help keep them in the correct position. This is complete with foam roller pads for added comfort and easy grip.

Running shoes
Weight lifting is good though, any exercise is good to be frank. Try to increase your naturally larger muscles (thighs/quads/chest/shoulders/back) and then this should increase the amount of calories your body naturally consumes in a day and so should help to increase weight loss. Healthy diet is still required obviously.
Edit: also it's really rare to get a chest fly machine in a home gym, usually requires buying a pair of cable machines and they're not cheap (edited)
Hard to remember off the top of my head exactly. The chest fly was around 120-150kg on full load I think, chest press around 160-180kg, leg press I bet would be 250-300kg.
Chest Press - 130kg
Lat pulldown - 92kg
Leg Curl - 100kg
What you don't want is to buy this thing. It arrives in 1 week. Then 2 weeks later, gyms open up.
Maximum Front Press: 90kg
Maximum Butterfly: 36kg - Values for butterfly are for each arm
Maximum Lat Pull: 72kg
Maximum Low Pulley: 72kg
Some neanderthals eh. I also wasn't aware that only men over 6ft 3inch are real men...some plonkers on here eh...
I don't know where they all come from mate. But they all end up on here.
Agreed, I have a Marcy 3000 multi gym, very similar to this and it is good quality. (edited)
The leg press in my gym goes up to 750kg. I manage around 520kg. That's not really a boast, most guys can leg press around that.
Pounds! I meant pounds! Doh!
Pounds is a lot more sensible. Back when i used to train seriously, my pb was 360. I was thinking hell no was I ever getting to 500!
I felt really inadequate for a moment then!
Seriously though I think it depends on the gearing of the machines, I squat about the same as I can press on the machines at our gym (120-130KG), unless you take into account the additional 15 stone of body mass of myself in which case I can squat significantly more than I can press on the machine.
A few of the guys pretty much max out the machine, there simply aren't enough plates to put on, never mind the lack of space to accommodate them on the machine itself.
Also, I hate leg day. Just thought I'd say that.
Leg press is a totally different exercise to leg extensions, though (which is what this offers)
Yep, I was bouncing off an earlier comment which was talking about leg press machines.
Keep your money in your pocket for now, get some press-ups done with Joe Wickes (or whichever similar youtube home workout video you like) for the remainder of lockdown then join a gym when they re-open for £15-£20 a month.
I expect more.
Where did you get your 90% statistic from?? can we join any gym or should we wait for your next command
It'll be around the 90% mark. And you can join any gym you like, buddy.
Let me know which you go and I will 100% avoid it.
That’s a good idea.
But I don't run
You described yourself as fat and asked how much it will cost not to be fat.
Mate all it costs is a change in attitude, you can't buy healthy but lose the '' I don't run'' talk.
Start today, do more than think about it.
I can't run got problems with legs
Pretty hard to recommend anything then, sorry
