Have a more expensive version of the Flexispot with memory, and wider, and it is probably the best purchase I've made in the last few years.

Bought pre-Pandemic, and have been WFH ever since mid March 2020. My hobbies include sitting (now also standing) at the desk.

Has been incredibly beneficial to my productivity and wellbeing. (edited)

Yeah so if you wanted 120 desk, you'd probs have the legs at 1m then 10cm overhang each side. This is what mine was like anyway and looks similar all apart from mine had memory settings.

Best home office purchase I made, back issues almost gone as every meeting I'm stood up instead of sat and I'm pretty much back to back meeting most days

Same as another user, have one with the memory function etc. It’s fantastic quality and super pleased with it for the money, I got the top with it too which was great quality too.

I have this model with their top as well . It accommodates my lap top and 2 screens with ease , it’s very sturdy. I use a wire shelf basket at the back to hold all the wires in place.

I've bought 2 different models from Flexispot and they've both been superb, really easy to put together and solid even when standing. I used the existing IKEA desktops I had and there was no issue attaching them, I tend to stand for 4-6 hours a day and it's done my back the world of good.

Another happy FlexiSpot ED2 user. Paid 240 with a large tabletop. Well packaged and top quality all around.
Not sure about single motor models though. Might not lift as much.
My desk started beeping at me today though. Turns out I’d activated a timer that beeps every x minutes to make you stand / move around

Got the EQ5S when it was on offer for 199 few weeks ago. Dual motor, anti collision, memory, 3 stage legs. It’s fantastic!!! I have my top 160X80 and no problem at all.
The package was so neatly packed and instruction are very easy to follow (even screws are in plastic bag, separated with A B C D… description so you won’t make mistake. I would say it’s an Apple quality (in a good way ) but with desk.

I bought the EQ5 in the last £199 flash sale and built it yesterday. Quality is excellent and it is very heavy and sturdy. I’m ordering a solid oak desktop from a local company but there’s a two month wait so bought one of the £20 ikea desktops (160x60) to use in the meantime. Even though the desktop is ridiculously light as probably cardboard in the centre it attached to the frame perfectly with the provided screws and actually looks great!

I was dubious too, but my desk is very stable and solid.

    Absolutely no shake at all.

You notice the weight of the item.

I have to add that being able to raise the desk really makes it easy to hoover under it too!

If the minimum height is too high consider getting a 3-stage standing desk instead which would have a lower minimum height (and a higher maximum height)

    Couldn't agree more.

Have the E7 myself, and has made working from home so much nicer.

And not forgetting has saved my back!

As even when sitting down, I can have the desk at a higher height. Am 6'3" and has made all the difference.

Tried the tresvanti one from Costco too but found that the support at ankle height got in the way when sitting, and the glass desk made me a little nervous using a monitor clamp.

Any big plus? Thanks for posting, I'm prob not quite ready to buy as I want to plan my office upgrade and the main thing I would miss is the draws and shelfs in my current desk.... but really good to know what to watch out forEdit - bigger and higher weight capability seem to be main differences

Yeah it is a fair bit more but managed to get it for £270 in a flash sale.

Main pros for me over this was higher height for me but also lower height so kids can use with ease, I think larger desk can fit in top, handles more weight, dual motor, control panel with memory settings and some cable management under the desk.

This is still more than good enough for most people though. (edited)

I bought mine from IKEA, I bought the bekant tabletop which is 160 x 80 (I believe it also comes in a smaller size). It’s more expensive but it is mdf so it is more solid. I think the one that you linked is basically cardboard in the middle so you may have problems when drilling holes into it. Not an expert though so maybe other could advise better.

They frequently have the EQ5 on sale for £199 if you can wait and stretch a little further. Its dual motor, 3 stage, supports bigger tops and more weight, has collision detection and memory function. I've been really impressed since getting one.

And definitely get a cage for wires/extension cords, even if just a cheap ebay/amazon one.

I bought the ED2 last year for around £240 and it has been brilliant. I would definitely recommend one with collision detection as I have a lot of loose cables dangling off from the back to the PC unit (on the floor) and when these get snagged, the desk will stop rising and drop height a little, preventing damage.
For the tabletop, I would check if you're buying from IKEA. A lot of them have honeycomb cardboard in the middle so these will struggle with the screws and with weight.

I bought something similar to this and just bolted the legs to the metal frame under the desk. works well! But because the glass table top is fairly heavy, I opted for a dual motor version (Duronic) and paid a little more for the increased weight capacity.

Not sure about eq5 but I’ve got the eg1 which is the entry level one (afaik). Not had any issues with wobbling and I’m using it at its max supported width (160 x 80 tabletop). That stabiliser looks like it would get quite annoying with your shins hitting it
