Just received both...the hand fan moves a pleasing amount of air be aware that it has a small plastic tab in the battery compartment that you should remove before it will power on, don't for example assume that it's come fully discharged and plug in the charging cable for 3 hours like I did (lol) folds up nicely to sit on a desk.... I will look forward to comparing it to a similar unit from Xiaomi I have coming from Banggood soon. The table fan feels a bit flimsy but performs adequately. at £12 for the pair I'm more than happy.
Actually, I’ve used usb desktop fans from the same company and they’re really well made. All look professional and very good quality. The ones I have had touch sensors too and have been working perfectly. Give it a try
These are chinese garbage, like absolute trash, they’ll break within a month guaranteed. Either they’ll stop working or the most common is the charging port will just break, end up having to have the charging wire in a “perfect angle”.
The poundland £2 USB fans work surprisingly well and sip power - about 0.1 amps - so should last ages on any power bank. Ended up buying, well, more than one, put it that way... (y)
Still working. Add white handheld one and the free usb one from promotions then in basket under the usb desktop one it has a 15% voucher button. Just got both for 9,35 thanks op!
In this case they are "refurbished" so not in original box. Still comes with a warranty though. If it's anything like the switches I suspect just returns that they just give a once over to check still working.
Hard to get little fingers/hair trapped in though.
It has moving parts, there is a fan in the bottom.
How does this place sell these things so cheap? Old stock?
That must be one big desk!
Chair is Oos! :(
This thing is awesome, well worth the price.
What's the size for the width, between the wall edge of the desk to person. I am looking around about 60 cm and 70 cm.
Perhaps I should have made myself clearer. We're talking about at the edges where the covering started lifting.
I think that is almost inevitable, after all it is only veneered MDF and there is more wear and tear then you would imagine from mouse, wrists etc. I always get one of the A2 size desk pads and put it where your computer/laptop is, which helps protect the surface.
Good price, have a similar set-up. Heat added :)
I bought this and the laminate covering on the particleboard was very thin and started peeling almost as soon as I'd started using the desk.
Is cold meant to be good in this particular Category? 8)
By Wednesday you will be turning the heating on
Out of stock
I just had to google it (shock) (lol)
This will be used by loads of people on lamp lovers
Isn’t led poisonous ?
so use a led lamp?
Be warned: this is cheap and tacky and smells of plastic when in use. Constant use will result in holes due to heat from the bulb.
Anyone else seeing a scary face on this ??
Imagine people's reaction to https://www.anglepoise.com/catalog/product/view/id/493/s/type-75-giant-floor-lamp-paul-smith/category/15/
Heat added, great price for this. A friend of mine has a few of these from the 60's, 70's I think and they look great, last for ages. I'm sure people turn their noses up at £100 for a lamp when you can get one for £5 from B&M, but it all depends what suits each person. While we still have free choice it's hot from me.
Bought the 'mini' last week for <£60. I expect this is an item that will last a lifetime. Heat.
Got one. Thanks!
Don’t be too disheartened - it’s quite common for people to vote cold on stuff like this. They see the price and vote cold without considering it in context. This lamp is a design classic and should last a lifetime - I got one,so thanks for pointing it out!
exact kind of light i was looking for my stream Cheers
I wish they would put this version on offer as they never seem to https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01M7YLKQ3/ref=psdc_200988031_t2_B06XHH1T1R
Thanks OP another tick off my sons birthday list :)
Thanks OP, I've been thinking of getting an LED desk lamp and this look just right. (y)
Thanks both, I've ordered :) Will be using it for my desk with my computer. Only have a enclosed hidden away light above!
I work for an industrial tool supplier an we want our work benches back minus the rgb that had been added so they can call it gamer hahaha what is it stick rgb and the tag gamer to anything an you too can sell your cheap tat for mega bucks
Looks nice, but when the actual PC has to go on the floor due to limited space, then what's the point?
Lol at all the console peasants hating.
Just need LED strips and it's perfect (unicorn)
IVAR is ideal, we ditched all our desks, including a massive "Pro" desk in favour of 50cm deep IVAR 2-bay combos. SWMBO had 124cm high, 6 y/o has a split level 124/175 combo, and I have a 220cm set to accommodate some of my larger books, as well as a laser engraver, steering wheel and pedals, SOHO printer/scanner, HiFi speakers and amp etc. My EATX case sticks out a few cm, but other than that, it is a near perfect set up. I will be adding a 1/2 width cupboard next to the PC to keep paperwork in when I get around to it; and I have some DVD/CD shelves that I can screw down the rear uprights..
I have this, love it
I bought this the last time it was on a deal. A great piece of kit
Not a fugazi, but a mini homage of the original and it's made by Anglepoise. They make a full fat version of it as well.
so its a fake
Yes! True Junglist business love human traffic! @TopTrump
You didn't wait for their 50 week sale ?
Seen that in Downtown Abbey...
My nearest Costco is a long drive away, so having it delivered is a real bonus and worth the £30 extra. It's also big (ie the dimensions of the table plus a bit more) so wouldn't fit in my car, and heavy, so I'd need to take someone with me. All in all, cheapest isn't always best. I've been using it a week now and it's great. Easy to assemble, looks good and moves smoothly up and down. Now I just need the rest of the office room to look as smart!
Just got it home and set up, first impressions are really good. I like the colours, design and build quality, nice to have 4 custom presets, good range of height. Will see how it goes after working on it for a week.
I have been using this for about 8 months now bought is for 235gbp ish. Tempered glass is great as the table becomes a white board so can easily explain things to kids. Led controls store heights for the whole family. One of my best buys from Costco
I had lumbar surgery and it kinda forced me to switch to standing desk. I wish I have done it earlier. Once you get used to it you don't really want to go back.
Needs a wireless charging pad built into the surface
