So, after much careful consideration decided to purchase last week. No complaints so far. Securely packaged with next day courier delivery. Build quality seems generally good. No dead pixels or major issues to report so far. 4k display and refresh rates appear good (certainly looks good with Xbox One). Note: HDMI 2.0 only so you really need to use the DP port for maximum effect. HDR not really tested yet but at least available. Menu is a bit clunky and the control buttons on the rear are proper annoying but, once it's set-up you don't really need to use them. Built-in speakers are functional but nothing fantastic. Overall: 28 inch 3840 x 2160 4K, IPS, HDMI (x2) and Displayport, 60Hz / 1ms Response Time, AMD Free-Sync, speakers and basic HDR for £200 is a bargain! Heat defo added.

    60hz

For the price I wouldn’t expect it to be more than 60hz. It’s 4K 28inch IPS for under £200 I’m yet to see a similar display at the same price with a better refresh rate. If this was a 1080p monitor I’d understand your comment

He also uses Youtube and other steaming services on the PS5.Apparently you can get 144 or 2k screens that can recive the 4k signal and down grade, but i dont know how you'd know,

To be honest at 28inches you probably won't notice much difference gaming at 4k and 1440p. However I can't even seem to find many 1440p high refresh rate ips monitors around a similar price to this so if it's just casual gaming I'd say this is a pretty decent deal.

Is this any good for PS5?

It seems to be HD / high refresh, 144 or 2k and mid refresh or 4k / low refresh.
It's a shame the PS5 can't do the middle of the park for the best of both.

Imo it depends upon what sort of games you're playing. If you're playing competitive FPS games then the higher refresh rate would be preferable but if you play more scenic single player games then this monitor would be fine - although I haven't used this panel myself.

What's the USB port for? I can't see an upstream port.

27" 1440p, IPS, 144Hz monitors are regularly £229-250 on deals here, search. E.g. Iiyama panel today. Worth it as gaming at 60fps is like viewing a slide show once you've experienced better. (edited)

But am I right in thinking that the PS5 is either HD or 4K and doesn't support 1440p?

I'm sure I've herd that the series s/x do?

Again it's just bits i herd others taliking about on these forums.

That's right. I didn't spot you were after PS5 support. I was responding to you saying that you hadn't seen screens with "best of both" worlds at a good price. A shame indeed that PS5 is hobbled in supporting only 1080p or 4K at present. (edited)
