sorted byJust finished the story last week. The amount of content is insane. I'm going for the platinum so still have a long journey ahead. Such a beautiful map, I refuse to fast travel.
Why do you want a PS5? Why do you want an Xbox? Weigh up those questions and you’ll have an answer. It’s such a personal choice. I loved forza horizon when I had the 360 and I’d love to play the new one,but too many great Sony games that I enjoy mean the PS5 was my only choice. Halo,gears etc were already going downhill towards end of the 360 period and ms stopped making rallisport challenge,project Gotham racing,fable etc.
All comes down to to the games YOU want to play over the next few years.

Nope. Rockstar haven't patched it. It's likely they see a business opportunity down the line to enhance the game for current gen, for a cost. Like what's happening with GTA5.
I was all for buying a PS5 until i saw forza horizon 5. what to do??? Never owned an Xbox (edited)
They will probably do a PS5, Series X release separately for about £45, even though like you say, a patch would suffice. I am holding off on this for that reason. You just know people will buy the next gen version even if they already own it. They would not get away with this on PC. 4k textures @ 60fps+ are expected. I don't think it's a lot to ask for my PS5. I would have tried the platinum but requires you to play online which I don't really do. I'm quite gutted I've finished it to be honest your right the map is beautiful and hardly any glitching. Musical score probably one of the best ever also. Good luck with the plat
Thanks It is a great price but I think I will wait for now. I don't mind playing at locked 30fps on slow games but not action. I wouldn't describe 30fps as buttery smooth to be honest. I started to play this game on Psnow on my pro and it was awfully stuttery during action. I ended up deleting it and thought I will play it on PS5 (upgrade) but without a patch it wont fair much better than the pro I shouldn't think. Does it being locked at 30 make it much more playable? I do have tons to play on PSnow for the moment anyway this game looks so good. Very tempted.
Good point. Deffo was a download. I am just wondering if the pro wasnt quite powerful enough to stay at 30fps and thats why it was choppy. Thanks for your help.
Worth giving it a try y'know starts slow but persevere. I left it about 18 months then went back to it on the PS5 on launch mainly due to the long load times on the PS4. Enjoy

I doubt they will try to patch it tbh it runs buttery smooth on my PS5 and load times are quartered if stored on internal SSD. Best looking game of PS4 era along with GOT. I wouldnt risk missing this game by waiting for what may never happen.
Silly question but you weren't streaming it were you? I know you can download a number of PS4 games from PS Now with this being one of them. Tbh when I was playing it it never stuttered at all. You use dead eye a lot so in the heavy action sequences your in slow mo anyway. I had the quickest horse in the game and their was no draw distance pop up and the scenery went flying by without major blur. Don't know if this is due to horsepower (no pun intended) of PS5 or not.
