Completely new cars in 2022. Anything could happen
Buy direct from the circuit, I've done that with various tracks around the world and it's normally considerably cheaper and you get a far better choice of where to sit.
Voted hot
correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like they are to me?
This. I looked at a few sites charging cost for the tickets then adding 15 - 20 euros on as a service, some with an additional 5 euro to email you the ticket! Direct from the circuit is cheapest I've found - admin fee 4.50 euros.
I was going to pull the trigger on this deal but the price went up £70 at the page after submitting personal details. When starting again it went through the same cheaper prices and then pushed for the extra at the end. Decided to book flights, hotel and general admission tickets separately. Different hotel and flight combinations so can't speculate on whether it is a deal or not. First time going to F1 so looking forward to it even if the racing won't be the most spectacular! (edited)
Most tracks are carnage to get in/out, so expect a lot longer than one hour!
Yeah completely fair point! I meant to say 'at least...'! and no doubt on a coach that will hardly be motoring, so in fairness, more like 2.5+ !
Can’t believe F1 have signed a new deal with this track! One of the worst circuits on the calendar and usually a terrible race.
Been a couple of times to Circuit de Catalunya. Grab the train from central Barca to Montmelo for about €3 & then walk 20 mins through the town. It's a great walk too as the locals sell food & drink cheaply on the street. Then hold street parties afterwards.
It’s all personal preference, watching players fall over in the majority of football matches frustrates me, now I only watch England games.
You're a grown adult, crikey.
To be fair I'm not sure we could prove that.
cant say with these new regulations, looking forward to it hopefully wont make spain look bad anymore
I think that's relating to the hotel and not the travel zoo offer itself?
80% of the grid is handicapped from the start..
Double disaster
It's a good circuit. It leads to a borefest because it's usually the one used for pre season testing so the drivers have too much experience of it.
Bonus!
Not to mention some of the drivers are there not because they are super talented but rather because they have a super rich dad or the son of a previous champion driver
Have you watched ANY of this season at all? You may have a point for previous seasons but your statement that 'the races now are just uneventful ,boring and predictable' is just so wrong for this season. Even 2020 had many many incredible races. I'd agree though that 2014-2019 were mostly not that great for the title battle with the exception of 2016. But 2020 had many great races despite hamilton dominating the championship, and 2021 has just been a completel classic season that will be talked about for a long time. You must have been living under a rock or something. (edited)
Heat added though!
You also have the rather strange hotel chucked in. Before anyone books this do a quick Google map Search, the circuit is only 20 minutes north of Barcelona yet this hotel is an hour east. Very much like buying a cheap Ryanair flight to a city and finding out it lands nowhere near where you expect to be, buyer beware
Mercedes dominance has made it boring for nearly all of the hybrid era, the fact Merc turned their motors down for several years to hide the cars true pace shows no one else could have possibly won. Yes there was a period when Ferrari were faster for half a season, but their cars lack of reliability (caused by having to push things to the extreme to get that pace, alongside some dodgy stuff with fuel flow) meant that we've not actually seen a season where Mercedes haven't had the faster car over the season. Even this year the first half of the year saw Red Bull and Mercedes incredibly equally matched, but in the latter part of the season Mercedes have a good 2-3 tenths on Red Bull. In summary this year will be the 8th year in a row were Merc have had the best car/package. Lewis is obviously a decent driver, but his performances pre hopping in the all dominant Merc rather suggest he was one the 3 or 4 best drivers, but not in a league of his own. Or maybe his driving just happened to improve at the same time as the car lol !
I'd rather it was a little more competitive chap, nothing more. I've no issues with Lewis, his prominence has been good for F1 by and large.
hes not wrong though is he? im not a hamilton fanboy nor am I a "hater" but for arguments sake how many championships would hamilton have won had he moved to ferrari and alonso went to mercedes? its all ifs and buts however you cant argue that mercedes havent had the best car of the T-H era just like red bull bossed before that.
its one of the strange things about F1, you dont really need to be the beat everyone on the grid, you just need to beat your team mate, which again hes been very good at, but look at the competition, Rosberg who was mildly better than the paid drivers around and Bottas who is rated so highly that after his 5 x 1 year contracts hes going to drive for Alfa next year. hardly had to beat anyone to become the "best ever".
not for me im afraid. (edited)
Yes, Spa would be good option if you want to camp a few days. I’m waiting for Monza tickets to be released, I’ve flights and apartment already booked. As stated, best bet is booking with the track itself 🤙🏻
