Thought this was an excellent price for anyone lucky enough to be able to get away for a week in mid-July. Something a bit different too. And Cordoba is a beautiful city. Located in the north of Andalucia is home to impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites, is full of history and architecture, and it has delicious traditional dishes.

Scores an 'Excellent' on Trip Advisor

Cordoba is a beautiful place and nearby is 'the shining city', lost for over 1000 years, the magnificent ruins of Madinat Al-Zahra, a once-thriving palace city built during the Islamic Golden Age. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lovely place but it will likely be very very hot this time of year. Last time we went, it was nudging 40 degrees. (edited)

I echo the warnings about excessive heat.
A quick check on weather apps for the dates of this deal, July 11th to 18th, temperatures in the 40-45C range every day.
Lovely place though, was hot in April when we went.

The New Thomas Cook New Business, Same Sunny Heart
After the original business collapsed in September 2019, a few committed former employees were determined the legacy of Thomas Cook would find a new life.

Two months later, Fosun Tourism Group, the owners of Club Med, bought the Thomas Cook brand along with the inimitable Sunny Heart logo - a symbol of joy and happiness, and an important part of the business’ identity.

Those former employees created a new venture - one that embodies the essence of the man himself but brings it bang up to date with the latest technology.

Beautiful location with Moorish history and one to definitely revisit, the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is a must. If you find 7 days too long there Seville/Granada/Seville is not too far a 1 or 2 day trip.
