Search Facebook for the SCS complaints group before buying anything from these cowboys. Bought ours back in August and we've had ripped sofas on the first delivery, sofas delivered with the wrong filling on the 2nd and SCS trying to charge us extra to "upgrade" to something we already paid for.

You'll get better value & service from the independents than you will from these people.

That's nothing compared to what they charge for the teflon pads to go on the bottom of the legs. Never pay for them, the delivery men always have them in their pockets and it'll save you £60.

I bought this sofa last January. Paid extra for better filling. It's very comfortable and is very well made for the price.

It must have taken over 6 months to be delivered though!

How much extra is the filling upgrade

Just checked and I paid £299 for the sofa and £90 for the foam upgrade. Definitely glad I paid the extra. They are still in perfect condition despite getting a lot of cheek.

I agree, i got 2 of them with the standard filling for the lounge and to be fair. They are really good quality, sturdy and comfortable. Especially for £600 for the 2 total bargain!!!

I bought these a year and half ago, I upgraded to the foam. I bought 2 X 2 seater as the 3 like someone said previously it’s 2 cushions so someone will be sitting on a crack.
so far sofas holding up for the price, I paid £349 each that’s with foam instead of standard filling, obv turn your seating and back cushions occasionally so you can regain shape.
I didn’t realise how deep the sofa comes out but my fault for only checking width & height as would have preferred shallower. Besides that for that price, you get what you pay for, prob won’t last for years but there again nothing is sadly built to last these days.

They are pretty solid tbf with my weight but when my husband gets up I can feel it lol his prob about 14st so if your looking at putting heavy weight on these then I’d spend more and buy a more solid structure. Most things are chipboard staples and cloth not like they used to make them years ago. But like I said for £349 which I paid for 1 2 seater if a get 5 years I’d be happy

They come out free so you can hoover it (edited)

There's also buy now pay later here or up to 4 years interest free payments if needed

My advice would always be to upgrade to the foam seats if you want it last makes a huge difference to comfort as well

I bought leather chair for 700 pounds few years ago. Worst money ever spend. First I waited for so long that I went to shop to cancel order but was told I need to wait for it to be delivered because in T&C they had up to 60 days to deliver. They did deliver I think on 50th day... wasn't impressed at all and there was dust visible under the chair which made me suspicious. I was stupid not to return it and demand money back... sold it for 250 on ebay. Barely used this chair because it didn't feel sturdy. Its frame was softwood and metal. (edited)

Wouldn't even reduce price of foam upgrade or delivery. I left without ordering and then did it online to get the TopCashBack. Maybe they would have haggled on other sofas but the Harry range they wouldn't budge on anything at all

I think it's down to them reaching their retail daily targets...going in store when they are struggling to sell enough damage covers or delivery will eventually make it easier to get a deal. I have some retail background with KPIs and there will be moments when they need to offer you some services for free or at discounted price. Being there at the right time and place may be down to luck =/ My advise, don't rush when you wanna buy something, keep visiting and don't give up I visited the store like 3 times before I decided to buy something

I concur its a nice looking sofa and has held up very well in the 8 months we've had, it and looks like it did on the 1st day - sitting on it and writing this now. Ordered on boxing day and delivery was 23rd April

It was slightly cheaper than the below so we added the foam upgrade and feel like it wouldn't quite be right without it so would definitely recommend

It's £90 upgrade for foam if buying one sofa, but £150 (£75 per sofa) if buying two. Also delivery will be total of £69 regardless of whether you buy one or two. So price per sofa when buying two works out cheaper than when buying just one.

To be fair it's kept its shape, I like the feeling of the filling as it's more like a cushion and less like your sitting on top of it. But each to there own preference. Either way for the money even with the extra for foam it's a bargain.
