sorted byWhirlpool stuff is quiet decent - Hotpoint - not so great … Whirpool bought Hotpoint from an Italian company and the stuff at that time was horrendous- even supposedly casing the Grenfell Tower fire
NO. This has NO heat function as stated above. The Amazon listing is talking rubbish
air conditioning unit
dehumidifier..
and it has a "HEPA filter" which means it has a built in air purification system. (edited)
True I've had hotpoint appliances in the past and they barely lasted I wouldn't touch them again.
Klimatronic I think it was 8 years old and worked really well until it almost caught fire!
The Amazon basics one is not an air con though
What is “3” in 1?
1. Air conditioning
2. Dehumidifier
3. ???
Amazons pricing machine appears to be on full on nutter mode. I got this 15mins ago for £151.60 and even since you posted it’s increased again to £172.60
oh dear at least 8 years a long time.
And how you think they can sell one for so cheap? You'll spend more time and money trying to fix it than just buying a decent one.
Who’d have thought something 3.5 times more expensive might be better.
Got one , helps with hay Fever and Its only going to get hotter on this planet.
You seen the prices of other companies? I mean its crazy. I am happy to try my cheap junk for now hahaha (edited)
At least you have Amazon returns to fall back on. Surely worth a punt?
Cool, heat, dehumidify
It doesn’t use 2800w, it uses 1100w
What make was your old one?
Apologies Gary333 but I am unable to find a delongi dehumidifier for £551.88.
Now £307 ? £209 was a really good price for this i would of gone for this one instead, just saw your comment (edited)
This not close enough. I’ll not point out the other obvious issue.

I notice no matter what fan speed is the consumption doesn’t go over 800w when compressor is on. Supposedly the unit is rated at 1,100w input power so makes me think the compressor might not be going to full capacity (thus lowering cooling effect).
