Its not bad. Practically carries on from the 3rd with a time jump in technology. Would recommend watching in cinema. It didn't make enough sales to warrant a 5th movie. Placing it during spiderman was a bad call.

I found it interesting how they made the pointlessness of it a major part of the narrative. Warner Brothers were going to make this film without the Wachowskis. Lana came onboard and created a script that explicitly says this. Wether the script is successful in doing this, and in turn creates a watchable film, is debatable.
If it's bad, it's not a lot of money spent imho but at least I paid something

Oh it can and it did.
Amazing with so much awesome material they boiled it (the original trilogy) down to bible bashing nonsense. This film is literally a bad parody of the originals.
It's quite impressive how badly they cockerdoodled this up. I'm actually wondering if it was intentional
