Hi folks, Game have the 199.99 bundle offer back up with astrobot.
sjhirst

Hi folks, It didn't come up before on the search, but it looks like this deal has already been posted earlier can the mods close it? thanks

ocelot20

Most games do requier move controllers even if they don't I highly recommend getting 2 as it's just more fun with them. Resident Evil 7 is amazing in VR but does not support move controllers (dualshock only).

lukebrown28

Shame - it's a good deal but I'd wanna get the move controllers as well (even if it costs a bit more). From what I've heard they're really good, but also essential for some games.

sjhirst

No, its a new bundle

lukebrown28

It doesn't look like this bundle comes with move controllers I don't think?

Hi This maybe account specific but been offered sports for half price
stevo6105

That's true yeah (highfive)

UB3RJU1C3D

37MB is the max available to me, living in a small Dorset town! I wouldn't risk it, I'm sure there'll be months where there's no deals. At the worst though, you can buy a 1 month voucher in Currys for £25. You will also be losing your current resolution (Which must be 1080p or above), as the Now TV only outputs at 720p

stevo6105

So that's about £40 a month then. Not bad that. I'm paying £71 month for all sky sports in HD and bt sport HD and 4k bt. My house phone and 100mbps broadband its the VIP bundle. Just trying to work out if doing what you do would be a better alternative to save some cash on my monthly bills

UB3RJU1C3D

£20 for Now TV fibre (which runs at 37MB), including line rental. That's only a 1 year plan though and I'm half way through

stevo6105

Cool. So you pay £15-20 a month for a sky sports pass then yeah? How much do you pay for your broadband monthly?

Wish virgin did at this price.

patchypirates

My contract with Sky was up and they didn't offer anything great so I switched to Talk Talk online. They must've received the request to transfer and started ringing me with this £8.99 offer. So I accepted

shamhaque

Did you sign up to talk talk before Sky made offer, or did you just call sky and tell them you were leaving?

seaniboy

It’s not, I got and posted the original £2 Anytime deal after a £8.99 recontract. 36m promo on the Anytime bundle if you stay with Sky Broadband, regardless of the price you negotiate for Broadband/Fibre deals. The bundle auto expires in 36 months from being applied. Given the price I pay is £10.99 a extra £27.01 seems ludicrously expensive even with calls, you can get cheaper line/broadband and call bundles elsewhere. £30 Line & Broadband ? (excited)

how has this got twice as much heat as the Amazon deal which has X1X, RDR2 Special Edition (£70) AND COD for £10 more on deal of the day??

JohnnyFireblade

Tried to pre-order this afternoon, but website says it's out of stock. I can only assume Game has allocated a finite number of pre-orders and they're all sold. :(

A) once Amazon knocked 30% off for the games not turning up, it was £230. B) stop being such a paranoid snowflake.

That’s the only post you need to read here.....bang on....great deal IMO if you want an iPhone and its based on this payment structure.

wimbojimbo

It is if you don’t use SWAP you see the title SWAP 24, the deal is a SWAP 24 deal so I would imagine people who take the deal out might want to SWAP! So no they wouldn’t pay any money! If you took this deal because you can’t read and thought it was just a normal phone contract deal then yes you would pay! But that’s not the idea of a SWAP deal.

Ripsta911

It wouldn’t matter if it was an iPhone for free , people would still vote it cold

We have one of the original white TV Now boxes ((£10 years ago) and I've never noticed any problems at all? Must be something to do with your internet connection presumably or a faulty box?

David_Livesey

I think the problem for some is that the stick can be a bit underpowered when connected to a USB slot on your TV but using the included power adapter plugged into a normal mains socket or extension as i do it's as good as the black V2 box. At least for me it is anyway (y)

£20 in the Crewe store today.... I still bought one though as 500 points is worth £15 in rewards so with the 2 months entertainment pass it's pretty much free.

Now TV entertainment pass on sweatcoins - 5 sweatcoins

Two months of Now TV entertainment pass for 5 sweatcoins now available on the sweatcoins app. Don't know how to add a link. Can someone do it for me ? Thanks
thetarget

Not read the whole thread. Hopefully they'll do a film pass for 5 sweatcoins in time for the December and January holiday/festival season. Redeemed one of these as they seem to be the only type of redeemable item on Sweatcoins which is useful (to me). Doesn't cost many sweatcoins and to get Amazon gift cards and others, costs a lot of Sweatcoins. No chance being able to claim a mobile. By the time in a few years I'll have enough; they'll have moved the goalpost and it'll be a higher amount required. Especially when it tends to be a bit random if my steps register, from one day to the next and what they give for them, can be vastly different. Even when a very similar route was taken. Exactly the same set-up each time too. The battery drain is not always as bad as it used to be. It's a good concept. If they had cheaper sweatcoin deals like this; which are useful and have them more frequently, it will be a lot better. Maybe an Amazon, or other gift voucher, or £10 paid via BACS for a reasonable amount of sweatcoins would be more achievable and considered fairer amongst users..

ontheqt

Set up new account via Quidco and get paid £8 too. Thanks op.

Just beware game ship this to you using yodel. I had so much trouble getting my VR from them. They claimed I missed them and they left a card but they didn’t do either. I was sitting at home waiting for them. Tried speaking to someone on the phone and nobody picked up. Just beware of this dodgy delivery company.

PistolPete67

I'd highly doubt they'd be selling the V1 version as where have they been stored all this time when they have sold V2 on nearly every deal from GAME on here. I think getting the V2 would be considered normal, and if they receive the V1, they should complain about receiving a discontinued product. Anyhow, hopefully people enjoy it, I'm still unsure.

therocksays

When I got mine a while back and paid allot more it came with Camera as well as Vr worlds and its a V1 so any one getting the V2 is a bonus and as someone said we cant trust the word of one person from Game as they got confused when i said is it the V1 or V2 and just said V1.

PistolPete67

I'm certain the old version was never sold with the camera and VR worlds in the one box so I think you're ok. Someone earlier said they received it and it was the V2. I think therocksays has been misinformed.

Massy2k

This is worrying, as I purchased this thinking it was v2

Just be careful. It is a right pain getting Spotify Cancelled through Sky chat. Literally clueless on the subject. In my case it isn't terrible, because my Sky contract finishes in January anyway, but unless you want the hassle of having to ring up then I wouldn't bother.

Stigger

If you have a gmail account, you can just add a dot anywhere in your email address and it counts as a new email address. e.g. test123@gmail.com could be test.123@gmail.com or t.est123@gmail.com, etc. All go to your original email address but all count as a new email when signing up for offers like this.

'Horrible' is probably overstating it, but it was substantially worse than I'd personally want to play. This was just after then NEXT update, so maybe it's been updated again, but it hasn't to my knowledge.

OnlyJoeKing

I think I tried lower resolutions, lowering the settings right down, and still was left with a pretty horrible experience. It's one thing on a controller, but another altogether when you want to use a mouse. Ymmv, of course. I think I've read analysis saying this is a game that can really benefit from an i7, more so than usual.

Avenger1324

I enjoyed this when I first played it at launch, but then drifted off to other titles. Coming back after the NEXT update it is amazing how much new content has been added and how it changes the way you play the game. If you are looking at reviews trying to make up your mind make sure to look for those made after / with the NEXT update, to give you an idea of where the game is at now. There were a lot of negative reviews at launch due to the state of the game at the time vs expectations / hype before the release.

GamingMill

I'd be interested to see how it runs on your system at a slightly lower resolution. On one of my older PCs it runs at a steady 60fps at 2560x1440 (my monitor for that rig's maximum resolution). That's only got an i7-4770 @3.5ghz (turbo boost up to 3.9ghz) and a Nvidia 780 4GB GPU.

crazygoldfish

With an i5 6600k & vega 64 it should be a surprise that only a few games can do 4k / 60fps.

Basically the were some issue on my Netflix so I had to update my cards, after updated the card got the mail that I can redeem the code, pressed launched Netflix and boom! got the credit. So in short, try put the mail on the link, go to netflix and change your billing details or removed them, wait a bit a mail from sony should come in, and should work. Hope its helps someone.

When does inequality apply to selective invitations for freebies? How do they select? If it’s anything other than random, it’s likely to be discriminatory in some fashion, age, spend, demographic. It would be illegal to target an age range, or people who spend loads because they’re well off. There will come a time when these deals will have to be for all, and not some select few.

Who said you need a TV Licence if you have a TV (skeptical) ? If you don't have an antenna plugged or don't use BBC iPlayer etc you are fine ! And why would someone pay a "TV licence" for playing their PS4 or watching Netflix and Youtube... One more thing...... why people watch TV still (skeptical) . There I said it i feel better now (:I

More reasons than this, but you can get the YouTube app on Roku whereas you are stuck with the browser version on Fire Stick.
