We both love the pan due to its deep sides but the non-stick coating has totally gone

24x stronger than non-stick not true as it's lost it before my other pans, never used metal utensils, only silicone spatulas which are soft. Hand washed and not put in dishwasher or used a metal scourer

Other half still wanted the same replacement this week though, to buy or not to buy

Unfortunately these non stick coatings are very sensitive to overheating and the pans low thermal mass means without something inside to transfer heat into they can overheat very quickly which can destroy the coating. So you can use all the silicone spatulas you like but if you have a habit of letting the pan 'warm up' unattended it'll shorten the life significantly

This deal though is the best without a time machineThankfully mine lasted 2 1/2 years since December 2019Got some cast irons but partner hates the heaviness

Why not try a carbon steel pan? We've got one instead of replacing our small frying pan every year, its still heavier than a non stick but much lighter than cast iron. You do have to season it 1st but its so more robust than a non stick, I've even used it on the bbq.

I've had the same issue as this. I always look after my cookware (no dishwashers for non-stick etc.) but this didn't last long at all (around 12 months at best). I'm looking at cast iron pans next as hopefully they'll last longer. The only upside to this deal, I paid about £45 for mine so if you're set on buying this pan, it's at least a good price.

Same goes for mine, it was great while it lasted but after a couple years it is now basically unusable. Kinda on the fence if I want another one or I should go with something else.

Absolutely, just keep in mind it's quite large so you'd need lots and lots of oil.

Do you cook with Olive oil? It is now known as a non stick pan destroyer.
