Le Creuset don't sell this or any of their 3 ply stainless steel pans without the lids, so I don't understand how Amazon have the option. Worst case, I return the pan back to Amazon! Anyway, I have taken the gamble at this price, so I will let you know tomorrow.
Bit pointless without a lid imo. The description says with a lid to cover the option of purchasing with a lid. Unfortunately not in stock
ikea have some nice stainless steel stuff for anyone else
It clearly says that price without lid…crystal clear to me. The fact the description says box contains a lid…well it would if you ordered that option
You could also eat raw meat and save money by not cooking it, what's up with people, it is what it is a buffet serving station THAT is what is on offer and its price voted on, just amazes me what nonsense people come up with, what's next? could always keep it warm on an open wood fire in your dining room!
You can get 3x Crock Pots (300W each) for £34.97 from Amazon. Often super markets do slow cookers for £9.99. A bit more flexibility.
Thanks OP, bought it, absolutely no idea why but hey ho you can only be killed once (lol) and heat added as no extension lead required to reach the top of the page (y)
Pleased with item prchased a little while ago only problem for me is it needs to stay plugged on and it advises not to se an extension
A wok and non-stick surface should never meet! Or so a Chinese chef told me once. There will be no Chinese restaurant or take-away using a wok with a non-stick coating. The whole point of wok cooking is to get the wok ridiculosuly hot and that is not good news for any non-stick coating. I love my Scoville Neverstick frying pans, but for a wok, it has to be bare metal and made super-slippy with oil. Ask you local take-away if they will prepare it for you. Nothing will be as non-stick as that wok.
A lot of those reviews are from people using it on induction hobs and wondering why it's not effective (aka morons.) Don't bother with non-stick woks. Buy an unseasoned carbon steel wok from here instead Hancock 12" Carbon Steel Flat Based Wok | Oriental Cookware | Buy Online (tradewindsorientalshop.co.uk)
Got mine today. You should probably take advantage of it as sharp as it is when you get it, because it's not going to hold its edge for long, and you'll struggle to get it that sharp again. Still, nice and light for cutting fruit and veg while it lasts.
Not any more
Back in stock at £5.41 just ordered one delivery between 4th June and mid July, I’m not too fussed, I have plenty of knives but thought would give this a try due to all the positive com
Yup, I expired it but hey, why rush to actually expire a deal, eh mods? Not when it's a staff deal (lol)

There's also the classic set they do which has one of these in the set for £12.99, not bad value for these 3 piece Paring Knife Set https://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorinox-Classic-Knife-Set-piece/dp/B0012MBCKC/ref=bmx_1?pd_rd_w=05sS9&pf_rd_p=d37ec216-f780-4d66-880f-797cabd3d4c3&pf_rd_r=6ZYWP50N99JMT1P953ZM&pd_rd_r=37dbd21e-d7c1-4501-a16c-8269e364d2d8&pd_rd_wg=udUgb&pd_rd_i=B0012MBCKC&psc=1 I can vouch for victorinox, my son uses them (Chef), my brother in law uses them (chef), and i use their butchers steak knife and boning knives (former butcher ) Got my butchers knives from Scobiesdirect. (sometimes cheaper on Amazon)
No need to peel butternut squash. Seriously, save yourself the trouble & the chance of an injury. There'll be plenty online to back up that you don't need to.
Pans manufactured today will not have the same longevity as something that was made a decade years ago. Everything is designed to fall apart after a year now, so you have to spend to replace it. For example, Japanese cars used to be famed for reliability - now the parts are made from the same as materials, probably in the same factory as everywhere else - and assembled in the cheapest location for shipping to the destination market. So you may just as well buy a Vauxhall or Renault as a Honda or Mazda now, won't make any difference.
Duplicate my friend https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/tefal-red-bistro-aluminium-cookware-set-5-pieces-at-amazon-3705990?utm_source=mappshare&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=3705990&utm_campaign=2021-05-14 By my good self (lol)
Heat added as good deal for what you get. But my wife and I have moved away from non-stick over a long period of time and invested in longevity instead, which obviously costs money. One of my small frying pans costs over three times as much as this entire set, though the frying pan will last forever given the right care. It wasn't something I thought about before but glad I did and very slowly (due to expense) built up an invincible collection of everything we'll ever need in the pots and pans department. Outlay was probably in excess of £3-4k for infinite use. Something to consider for the longterm, if inclined.
Mate, I’ve had these for over 8 years and the handles are now just cracking around the handle to pot join areas.
Garbage pans, lasted a year and a bit, and threw them out. Handles kept coming loose, non_stick coating didn't last. Replaced with sciville neverstick and they have been a lot better.
But it is, when this has only £1 saving and the average that this BBQ is being sold is £16
Save your money put in towards a weber go anywhere cracking piece of kit.
Lots of the other sellers are banned from hotukdeals and this one isn’t. It’s hardly the worst deal in history, maybe leave the exaggeration at the door.
This goes to show you that it is not about the deal, it's about who posts it. This is the worst deal in the history. The item is rubbish and its available cheaper from at least a dozen other seller on Amazon, eBay and others. Not sure why this is here
An old steel car rim makes a good fire pit, just need to elevate it with a few rocks or bricks.
There is a lot to consider as after initial outlay you have cost of ingredients and fuel cost to think about, not to mention the time involved to make dough in advance, heat up oven, prep the pizza and then the mess you end up with after a cooking session. On the flipside, once you've mastered your dough, the pizza you make will be far superior to any supermarket or Domino's pizza. Depending on where you live, I would guess you would be looking at about £7 to £10 for an equivalent quality Neapolitan pizza from a decent pop up stall, possibly more if you want fancy toppings. I don't know about the longevity of Ooni ovens but Roccboxes are built to an extremely high standard and I would imagine could last a lifetime if looked after. With that in mind, if you enjoy the work involved and the whole experience of cooking for yourself and friends, and you like to eat a lot of pizza, then the oven will eventually pay for itself.
Don't forget to factor in cost of ingredients and fuel so you can probably buy well over 160 pizzas for the cost. However, whatever that number is, this will cook many more and still have residual sale value when you've done with it. Not to mention the joy of having high temperature, home-cooked pizzas. I never tire of watching a pizza cook in around a minute in my Roccbox.
I want this but keep thinking I can buy 160 pizzas for the same price ?
