Plus £2 click and collect - mods asleep tonight?

Good price no doubting that. A warning to check the measurements when ordering though as in the picture they look deceivingly larger than they actually are. I've got a couple of 60L boxes sat in front of me and and you'd think these are the same size to look at. Still heat! (y)

£3 in Dec 19, just checked my order.

Need something to store flour, thought I struck lucky, but guess these aren't air tight, voted hot anyway for the price

They also have various size and colour LeCreu cups/mugs in Homesense Taunton yesterday for the same price hope this helps someone

Are these cast iron?

Thanks for your wonderful insight.

Spammier than a spamsplosion in a spam factory. Not even being remotely subtle about it.

Would be crazy to risk the merchant getting banned if they were an employee. They have so many deals posted on here for their group of companies they'd be silly to self promote directly or indirectly. Two new members off the bat posting for the business. I don't suspect a thing (lol)

Was just going to ask the same question.

Natural Slate Placemats & Coasters | M&W 12pc - £8.97 / £11.92 delivered @ Roov
Posted 4th AugPosted 4th Aug
Natural placemats, elegant finish!

These are pretty terrible. They have small fabric feet on, but just wobble on any flat surface(cos of the unevenness of the slate), so you can't really trust it with a glass!

Great Crimbo present, just give to your kid with a bit of chalk and say retro tablet from 100 years ago, enjoy.

I normally just get mine off the church roof along with the lead! (god helps them who help themselves?) (angel)

Ordered thank you very much :)

I assume you can't put these in a dishwasher....

Why buy one when you can get two for the same shipping price? (y)

Why can't you use a normal chopping board?... i mean, only pandas eat bamboo, don't think they'd know what it was chopped on ;)

I only need the cups tbh, so as long as they are about 200ml, which most of these plastic ones are I am more than happy :D

Got cups, bowls, plates and cutlery set for the little one today. Plates are far larger than those at Asda. Actually seem ok. Does say not microwave safe but not an issue. The forks seem particular blunt but not a bad thing for kids. Seem good for kids / picnics (y)

I hope they have some in my local, when i go tomorrow!! Great price!!

Usually £99.99. Save £10 By applying £10 voucher. Decided to buy as my basket has finally broken on my Philips. Includes all colours now at that price

I was umming and aaaring last night whether to purchase at £85 and yes you are right the price has gone back up to £90....arghhhh

Keep an eye on the price. They often offer vouchers or discounts, so they don't show up on camelcamel or other price checkers . I paid £70 for mine a year ago, and it's often available for £75

ye it has but looks like there's a "Apply £10 voucher" on it to bring it down to £90 now which is across all 3 colours if that helps anyone

Sorry didn't mean to be rude. It's just that nothing will ever taste as good as fried food. However this is the next best alternative with using not much oil. The crispness is far superior to that of an oven. It's even noticeable on frozen chips. It's also a machine you end up using more and more because of the ease and health benefits.

they whacked the price of all 3 up to £99.00 overnight as I was in the process of ordering...!

No problem :)

my apologies. that's good to hear. I was being grumpy and you called me out, good luck to you

When I have parties I like to keep things warm so I do some of the food in the oven then put it in the slow cooker and change over. This way the food is warm for the guests and I don’t have to keep washing the bowl out. They may not be for everyone but for me, they are useful, so with regards to the environmental cost, I’m happy to do my bit with my electric car amongst other things. For those on the post having a dig at people who use them is just plain rude. Again, people making a big fuss over something that could be used every now then but happy to buy multipacks of crisps... Hypocrisy at its finest!

I don't understand people saying these are useful for a quick changeover. It's a slow cooker! Saving 20 seconds on a changeover for a 6 hour cook doesn't make sense to me. Certainly not worth the environmental cost regardless of price.

I just rinse mine out as soon as it's done Don't see what the big deal is. Pointless product.

Do you use it on a large hob or something? My handle never gets even warm whilst cooking 3 eggs (one after another) the metal bit connecting the pan to the handle does but that's metal, you expect that. Biggest gripe with the pan is the two bolts that are inside the pan connecting the handle. They are slightly raised and aren't non stick coated so if you throw your egg around too much and it touched them, then they stick to the egg. Which is not convenient. The one in the picture appears not to have these though, so maybe a newer version? I bought mine for Tesco about 3 months ago for £4.75.

Gets good reviews so bought one to use in the caravan heat for the op

We have one, the handle, and even the plastic bit become ridiculously hot, would not recommend

Something to be aware of - I recently bought a bin and toilet brush bundle from Argos. Bin is 8L and it's tiny. You'll struggle to find a pedel bin liner small enough to fit/it will fill really fast. We're going to chuck ours out and buy one that's a more conventional size.
