A 22-piece Tefal cookware set including three frying saucepans, three saucepans, a sauté pan and wok in key sizes from the stainless steel Tefal Emotion range. The set comes with three hermetic plastic lids and two Ingenio removable handles for use with each pan and other Ingenio cookware. The saucepans feature interior capacity markings to help you cook the right quantities when following recipes. The frying and sauté pans have a Thermo-Spot heat indicator, which turns solid red when the pan reaches the optimum cooking temperature, plus an extra-thick Titanium non-stick surface so metal utensils can be used.

Tefal Emotion is made of high-quality stainless steel, ensuring high resistance against rust, corrosion, stains and shocks for long-lasting performance. Easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher, the pans are compatible with any hob, including induction. Each pan's high-impact bonded base ensures even heat distribution for improved cooking results. The saucepans without the handles are oven safe up to 250°C and the non-stick pans are oven safe to 175°C, so you can start cooking dishes on the hob and finish cooking in the oven.

The Tefal Ingenio range is a bit of a magician in the kitchen, turning frying pans into oven dishes, and saucepans into bakeware thanks to the removable handle design for easy storage. The pans stack together giving you more cupboard space. The Ingenio range includes stackable pan accessories from straining lids to spare handles.

Looking at the JL website, this deal doesn't come with the pan lids, only the ones to close in the fridge. I was going to bite, finally, but can't see the glass lids in the offer, only the hermatetic plastic ones. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The glass ones are £36 more. The deal has bean around £165 with the glass lids in the past

You either don't need this many pans or you need more handles, probably both. These are a great idea for storage but are rubbish to use if you have to swap handles around whilst cooking.

Three less pans and two more handles would be a much better set. (edited)

I actually thought similar when I bought this set, but in practice have been proved wrong.

Two handles is about right for a 4 burner hob. Once you get used to them they are very easy to clip on/off, even if something starts bubbling over. And in some respects makes life easier not having 4 handles sticking out. We have an induction hob, I believe on gas/ceramic hobs you’re not supposed to leave the handles on anyway.

Secondly the various sized frying pans have actually come in handy. Either because i can use a smaller one when I have bigger pots on the hob, or because I can use a couple (I.e when I’m making paratha/naan for a few people). I wouldn’t have that many traditional frying pans that take up space, but for this price and given they take so little space I’m happy to have them.

In fact the issue is it doesn’t have enough. I’ve had to keep one big pot, but accept weight would probably be an issue for detachable handles. I would have liked another very small pot for sauces/etc though.

My other major gripe is in the long term it doesn’t really save space. Mrs has already bought a waffle maker and I can already see she’ll soon have gobbled up all the space I made. I should really have known that from the start, we don’t have a small kitchen, but still ran out of space despite only being a family of 4

From the pictures some of these are non stick and some not. But there is no mention of non stick in the description of any of the pans.

    Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

I have these... Can confirm the frying pans, saute pan and wok are non stick and have the protectors for stacking. The saucepans are not.

Has any one had these more than 5+ years, given their price range for stainless steel pans wondering why such a short warranty, handle excluding. (edited)

Had mine for about a year and they’re like they were when I got them. However, make sure to read the care instructions properly, I’ve had 2 handles fail on me (Tefal replaced both) but they can’t stay on the pan while it’s hot, can’t go in the dishwasher and can only be wiped clean. As for the pans, they’ve been no problem at all.

These are the best pans I've used for my induction hob. Handles are crap and fail, but Tefal replaced and so far so good

Had ours 3 years still perfect condition had no problems with handles

We have a set of these beauties. Excellent quality and brilliant space-savers. We also use them for camping - make chillies and curries in advance, freeze them then defrost on site. The sealing lids are great for this purpose. Haven’t had any issue with the handles or the (bought separately) lids. Edit to add that the frying pans are absolutely non-stick. (edited)

On TCB would buying giftcards (2.5% cashback) then the retailler 2% cashback stack?
  16. Slick_uk's avatar
Not 5 years, but they are brilliant and especially at this price. Makes storage much easier with the removable handles.

    I’ve got this set, fantastic
  18. NibblyPig's avatar
They're good but the lids are a bit crap, they instantly steam up so you can't look inside and see if your pasta is simmering or whatever. Never had this issue with my old cheapo glass lid.
    JubilantPigeon's avatar
You're not meant to cook with these lids They're to seal them air tight to store leftovers in the fridge. They sell glass lids for cooking separately
  19. jl80286's avatar
Do note that the non stick coating on these are lower grade within the tefal range. Also can anyone confirm if these are made in France?
    Clark_Blackburn's avatar
    Not made in France.

Got this set with the glass lids last year for £165. It’s a really good set for the price

Handle is rubbish and stopped working after 3 months and is not included in the guarantees
  22. taraweeh's avatar
I have these and wouldn’t repeat the experience again. Pain in the butt getting handles I’m and off and you cannot use them on non stick pans as it scratches. Save your money
  23. Stigggeh80's avatar
Had these 7 month, both handles have stopped working. John Lewis have been awful in relation to assisting with repair/replacement. Really put me off buying anything from JL in the future.
