The odds of my local coops actually having all components of any meal deal in stock at any one time are essentially zero.

Nice deal if its in yours though!

If you search the deal on here people have posted the available substitutions. Might help

Have these got more than 3 pieces of fatty chicken in them?

Sainsburys used to have the best sauce/rice pack and then something changed a few years ago and went completely downhill.

Asda, I really dont even know if that was ever good but I regret it every time I buy it.

Morrisons has more salt in it than any other flavoring.

So what about this one ?

If you must go for any premade curry then the only ones worth bothering with are the Marks and Spencer’s best ever chicken or Waitrose tikka masala. But by the time you cost it out you may as well go to your local Indian as you’ll get far better quality and more than these pre made ones

    Rest are garbage

I'd skip the rice as you can get the microwaveable packets at less than 1/4 of the price, the bhajis and naan are brill though. Good price!

Anyone tried these curries? How's the taste?

It's not too bad. About what you'd expect from a microwave meal but considering the beers are about £5 most places £3 extra for the curry isn't bad.

It's £8. Just take advantage of a good deal. Don't over analyse! If it doesn't taste as good as hoped you have the choice to not buy again?

Unless you live in Scotland in which case it is not available. Min alcohol pricing I guess.

Tesco Clubcard deal works out better then, as you'll get rice, bhajis and 2 naans for the same price. This deal makes you lose out on 1 side.

    Got this yesterday
The cobra was the best part of it .

Poor tasting dishes . But suppose for £3.50 for two mains and two sides it’s not bad

I ordered 2 sets of meals for collection on 22nd but Coop has not sent me any ''ready for collection'' email/text msg. Using Coop food the first time, not sure what to do next. (edited)

We are fed a concoction of chemicals on a daily basis. I went to the co-op to buy this offer the curry element was best before October 17th, I dread to think what's in there to preserve the ingredients for over 3 weeks
    Shawn_Brophy's avatar
    Shawn_Brophy
Agree I checked the dates and thought the exact same 3 weeks for chicken in the fridge
