I have the 55C720K, which is a slight model variant of the same TV. Picture quality is mind blowingly good for the price, can compete with Samsung Qled which are double the price. Interface is your standard andriod TV. It also support earc, budget HDR10+ and atmos if those matters to u.

However, the actual processor is mediocre at best, boot time from off and app load time is long, and interface is some what laggy at time. Best pair it with a separate streaming device for the best experience.

8/10, for the price would buy again.

I have this TV , purchased from costco last year . I really like it , I paid £345 with a 5 Yr warranty.
It has very good sound . Very little motion blur when watching sport .
If i had to pick out negetives , there is some "clouding" in very dark scenes
    Overall I'm happy with it

Bought, arrived next day (Sat) and really pleased with it. Got to admit fiddly to set up initially and had to restart a couple of times but nice bit of kit. Sounds pretty good and is great in my home office.

I'm really impressed with features and picture quality. I am coming off the back of a 10 year old dumb Toshiba set but have a 65 Samsung QLED in the living room to compare against and you wouldn't think they are £1000 different in price

The same seller has also got this Hisense 55A6BGTUK 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD TV for the same price and i was wondering how does that compare against the TCL?

The Hisense is an IPS panel, the TCL a VA. The Hisense will have better viewing angles and motion handling, the TCL better contrast.

Would this be any good for a PS5/Xbox X, or would it be better to spend more.

Mine is going to be used with XBX but I'm only a recreational gamer these days. I'm sure it will be great for this, Freeview and Netflix/ Prime

Debating over this or the 65 inch Techwood deal.... Can't say i'm overly fussed about quality but it would be placed in quite a bright room... any advice ?

I had a techwood 42" model a few years back. It died after 18 months. TCL are showing to be quite the competitive quality brand at the moment

I had it and can recommend it if you planning to watch TV not gaming :d . HDMI and Refresh rate says enough :D:D . Refund it easily after 3 weeks in Costco .

If you want this TV just to watch Films , Series go for it .

If you want to start gaming , don't buy it

I don't agree with that totally, while it's only 60hz that equals 60fps and the PS5 Series X can't do much more than that in most games. It also has (Allm) auto low latency mode which makes it run with lower latency making response time very good in games. It's only vrr and 120hz that's missing sadly but you'd have to pay a lot more for that anyway. I use it with my Series X it's blows my mind how good it is. (edited)
