4K TVs are the next generation must have consumer buys in home TV viewing and entertainment, but can vary in quality and image processing capabilities. Finding the best 4K TV at the right price is important for any consumer. HotUKDeals have regular updates on all the discount deals and promotions on 4K TV purchases from retaile Read more

this - if there is a poorly disguised email in the condition details section (when you click the x new from link) then that should be a clear signal to steer clear. In fact apart from the odd exception, I find it generally best to stick to Amazon or Amazon Warehouse and ignore anything else when shopping on Amazon. I'm sure there are some good third party sellers out there but it always bugs me that (when buying form third parties) my prime membership counts for nothing i.e. no express free post or option to use promotional credits...

Don't order! Known to be a scam. They email you outside amazon for the transaction and won't deliver the product

If it's too good to be true.....?

Wow! That is amazing! I remember I saw the same deal but couldn't justify it as I had just upgraded to a good 1080P projector earlier in the year (Acer H9505BD), which has only had around 150 hours use, so there was no way I could justify upgrading so soon again, but the deal hunter in me still wonders if I should have. Not sure where they stand in terms of real world performance but that BenQ looks gorgeous in that white/turquoise colour scheme and definitely looks like the more premium projector vs this Viewsonic. I am sure the Viewsonic is still good though. In any event it's great to see 4K projectors getting really affordable lately - I hope it is a trend that will continue...

Projection is the future of TV.

That’s what I like to hear about my future purchase!:) can’t wait! What OLED TV do you have and do you use it for gaming?

Using oled for a year, and it was one of the best things i spent my money on,no qled here too

Check the other thread, that code was pulled really quickly because it was a flat £200 off EVERYTHING on their website, so an obvious error. PRC called asking for £200 payment.

I’m really tempted by the 65’’ deal I should have bought last week when they had a valid £200 off code

Thanks, good to know they are doing that. The one I was comparing this model to was the LG 55SK8500PLA( I got the model totally wrong initially), Currys have it at £1099 at the moment and was wondering what the main differences between them were.

Ohh, SK9? I'll take a look at details later, but worth noting you can get £300 cashback from LG on the SK9 at the moment (£500 on 65in). Still a huge gap, though.

Ah I've put ks instead of sk (lol)

This model exists.

What's the differences between this and the 55ks5000pla model? Bit of a gap price wise.

Why is this cold??

Fair points! Same price in curry’s as well I think?

Why would they? Costco is not open to all. You need to be a member. John Lewis do not match Costco. They lowered the price as I sent them an email yesterday. Costco also offer a £15 BlackFriday voucher, making joining online free. Costco is better as you get 3 months free rental (sorry I meant returns)!

Having had my 50PUS6753 delivered yesterday, I must say that Ambilight is absolutely fantastic and I'd be willing to pay the extra to get it having now used it. I was blissfully unaware of the feature when I ordered too so no confirmation bias! Super happy with the OS, speed and apps are fine and range of settings is staggering. As long as you stay away from 'Vivid' HDR mode and maybe turn down the Ambilight brightness a bit, I would struggle to find a more immersive set to watch, especially at this price. Great deal for this model too, and I'd have preferred this stand over the one I have. Here's hoping my model drops so I can price match it with AO 😁

So wrong imo. A relative has the 50inch ambilight version. When watching movies at home i feel myself wishing i was watching on their tv. It’s so immersive. Check out this I also think it helps making the contrast better having some backlighting.

Heat from me although if you can stretch, the ambilight version is great!

I think I'm getting close to that point! The woman just doesn't understand that a TV that is "big enough" for shows like Teen Mom just doesn't kick it with the Witcher 3 on the XBox. :-(

I suggest you check the fuse, just in case. ;-)

HISENSE H65A6200UK 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV - £649 @ Currys
Found 11th NovFound 11th Nov
HISENSEH65A6200UK 65" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV Pretty good price for a backlit LED. £551after 15% Quidco

The 65a6100 can be had for £492 if bought from currys and use the 15% Topcashback but no 6 year warranty.

Got the 65a6100 delivered couple of hours ago. Initial impressions are really good, in cinema mode colours seem to be spot on, while all other modes are blue for some reason. So far watched couple of 4k clips on youtube and played some pc games. Not sure what people are expecting from a budget set like that but assetto corsa looks stunning at max details, im impressed. Input lag seems to be what reviews suggest and you can play shooters without getting annoyed. Waiting till dusk so I can check if theres any ghosting/banding but I think I got lucky there. One major issue so far is remote operation, once you press a button tv thinks its pressed constantly so volume and menu navigation is fun. Despite that I think for £550 with 6 years warranty I wouldn't find anything better. Rant over.

If people in the 70's waited for blu rays, they will be dead or have impared vision now, enjoy the moment, yes there maybe 16k soon,8k so last year, who cares, live for today I say.

Ah... it seems we have the first casualty of the Annual pre-black friday "fake mark ups to make normal price a discount" tomfoolery. Be warned ladies and gents... the discount sticker bloke is the real winner here!

Don't go for this, IPS panel, crap contrast ratio and crap blacks. Better go for the Samsung NU8000 which is a VA panel, or better still the Sony XF9005 which is a VA FALD panel.

Is this the same one AO has for £399 at the moment? Correction: no https://ao.com/product/ue50nu7020-samsung-nu7000-tv-black-61671-108.aspx

I got for £429 from ao with a price match, deal posted

Same price most places, Richer Sounds too. I was looking at it from Very the other day where it was £410 with the £40 treat code.

Deal is still getting heat even after someone has pointed out that there is a much better offer for the product. I don't really care but ain't HUKD strange?

Samsung UE43NU7020 43 inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV TVPlus @ Richer Sounds for £349
Refreshed 10th NovRefreshed 10th Nov
I'm still probably going to wait until closer to BF, but saw this pop up. Do you think it's worth paying an extra £60 or for this or maybe going for the Hisense?

Richer sounds likely won’t refund the difference to a cheaper competitor as they offer a 6 year warranty and no other competitor will. However I’m happy to pay £30 more for a tv and get it from RS rather than Amazon or Curry’s etc. The 6 year warranty is a game changer

I might go ahead and purchase it now, seems like a good deal for hdr10+ and a reputable brand to go with it

I posted this and even I'm probably going to wait. Although BF is nothing like it is over the US and it's usually a bit of a disappointment.... just a way for companies to inflate junk then "discount" it for the big day... With the occasional gem here and there. I've been thinking about ordering from RS, then if something better comes along in the meantime - return it within the window or see if they'll refund the difference if it's the same model.

Should I pick this up now or wait for bf ? Not looking to spend more than what this is listed for on a discounted model that is "better"

nice one! Thanks

Thank you very much indeed!!!! Nearly brought it last night but held off. Saw this deal on duplicate post and was just searching hduk for voucher code when I found this post. Booom. Phoned up to buy and they added 20 quid discount no fuss. Thanks!

No it will as i just called AO and got the tv for £259 as i said i don't have the funds and the advisor asked there manager if they could authorise and honour the £20 off sign up promotional offer still as if not i shall buy and take my custom elsewhere but you can't pay and order online as they have to charge you over the phone by taking card details

Not sure if this will work as the item isn’t over £299.... You’ll be able to use your £20 discount when you place an order for an item of £299 or above. Please note this offer applies to orders for individual items over £299, not a total order value of £299.
