Details

Classic yet contemporary, the Seiko's Prospex Speedtimer watch is a reimagined version of the 1969 Seiko Speedtimer.

Originally the world's first automatic chronograph watch with a column wheel and vertical clutch, this time piece is inspired by the design of the 1964 stopwatch. This refined automatic watch is enriched with three-hand movement that's conveniently solar-powered and features new automatic 8R series chronograph movement.

For extra visibility at night, the dial and hands have been treated to Lumibrite. Enriched by a crown and push buttons, this reliable professional piece is perfect for your everyday wear.

I have both, they look so nice together in the watch box, don’t deprive them of that.

Lovely time-piece. Too bad reality hit me and I now have to be careful on what I spend on. (edited)

These wear so well, they look much more classy and expensive than the asking price. Can't go wrong

Is it just me or does that watch look particularly angry at exactly 10:08 as in OP?

I had the original 1969 version when my uncle gifted it to me as a young boy. It was the Japanese version, slightly different design to this one with just the one sub dial and striking blue face. The thing that astounded me was the automatic winding mechanism which I had apart many time trying to make head and tail of it. It was a 6139A made in house movement. This fisher-price version is a quartz. Why oh why. (edited)

I’m surprised you didn’t destroy it by taking it apart! I destroyed some mechanical type clock when I opened it up and springs shot everywhere! (edited)
