That’s a steal. I’ve had mine several years now and it’s fantastic when a DIY job inevitably crops up to know I’ve got decent tools for the job.

Don’t forget to register them for a free 3 year extended warranty- bosch-professional.com/gb/…on/

Just picked mine up but the case is sealed and does not say there are 3 x 2Ah batteries only 2?

Can anyone confirm before I open thanks in advance.

Just collected mine and the box states only 2 batteries are included. Is everyone's the same? Still good price but maybe a bargaining chip. If so, get some screenshots of the page whilst you can!

Mine says 2 batteries on the outside but has 3 off inside. One fitted to each drill/driver and one seperate in the box.

Don't forget to register it for the 3 year warranty! Same I got a combi deal with 3 batteries years ago, brushes are done for and sparking out the back of the drill but old batteries work in this new one! Cannot wait for spring got a couple jobs in the garden eyed up.

I've been to pick up mine this evening (I had last one in my area when I ordered on Wednesday, on collecting mine it was not cased, it appears like new but was in a plastic bag and would guess as ex display , it's missing the storage case and metal belt clips ,but has 3 battery's and charger ,manager said they had sold out so offered me £20 off so got it for £85 (minus case) (edited)
    sarah_collier's avatar
    sarah_collier
Mine was open.. I questioned why and they advised the store manager was requested by head office to open all cases to ensure all the items were intact. Despite the belief that they should be opened infront of the customer. Go figure?
Had the same issue buying a Karcher from Wilko. Was missing items so got an extra discount. Perhaps worth contacting Bosch?

I have this drill and driver. They are both excellent. My dad also commented on it when were recently drilling through joists to route a cable. This is a great price. Even the original £190 is actually not bad (similar to what I paid for the 2x 4.0Ah kit). Possibly even a pricing error as the drill alone + 2x4.0Ah is more (at Toolstation).

Edit: apologies, I misread the latest Bosch prodeals teems. (edited)

I just tried to claim for a reward but unfortunately they don't qualify for anything, according to the system.
The terms says as well purchase price has to be £170 inc VAT also.
Oh well it doesn't matter, the kit is a great deal anyway.

Does anyone know how to see which stores have it in stock on the website?
    Grumbledook's avatar
    Grumbledook
You can set or change the store you want to look at at the very top of the webpage, it will then also show you a list of the other stores that are near that one you set. Don't think you can just see which of all the stores have them though.

I just tried my old bosh driver bits with the impact drill and they are too small to stay in place in the chuck, do I I need special ones for the impact drill or does it adjust somehow?

Is this as good as Makita?
    harvey.atkins's avatar
    harvey.atkins
That's a very hard question to answer. Look on YouTube at comparisons. All companies are very similar unless you are working where a few seconds here and there make any difference. Bosch has a few tools that are the better than any other yet so does Makita. You just really have to weigh up what kind of user you are and weigh up the benefits compared to price difference etc... But both Bosch and Makita are in the handful of companies that make the best power tools for sure.

Picked mine up to day- but can't seem to register it? The Bosch Professional site seems to have been closed yet the Bosch site directs you to it?? Any suggestions???
    Splashmo's avatar

I registered via the Bosch Pro app. Uses your camera to scan the serial numbers on the drill/impact driver and extends guarantee to 3 years

    iOS version is apps.apple.com/app/id1468881224

Assume there must be an Android version as well. (edited)

Brilliant price. I bought a 12 Vault Combi driver from amazon from a previously posted deal. It is lightweight and is suitable for quick DIY jobs around the house.

What's an impact driver good for?
    farmphdbank's avatar
    farmphdbank
    This one?

Tearing the heads off screws accidentally then swearing at yourself for being so careless.

Undoing rusted wheel nuts (edit1: with a suitable socket- MUST be impact rated or it may shatter). Edit2: actually note I think the GDR is the version without the 1/2" square socket combo head.

Generally driving in big screws to wood or basically anything (edited)
