I am surprised by that comment as I also have one and it has been brilliant in a full garden refurb (stone, gravel then grit sand) and a large lawn (to AstroTurf) project.

can I use this to flatten out my lawn (il remove the grass and leave mud only) and then add seeds to regrow it again?

no, you need a lawn lute (or a pallet and some rope). This will compact the soil too much

I have one I bought a few years ago to do a big job in the garden. It done the job and I stored it in the shed. Gave it to my pal last week and it was DOA.

Should be green as they've written "HULK" on it

Hate to be that guy but the Aldi petrol one is likely to be better, albeit abit more expensive (think it's £250).

Good deal if you want one of these though.
