Experience a heart-pounding tale of survival from the producers of 47 Meters Down where sacrifice may just be the only way out. A fast drop and a sudden stop awaits Becky (Grace Fulton, Shazam!) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner, Halloween) as they find themselves trapped 2,000 feet up an abandoned radio tower in the desert. Highly trained and resourceful, these climbers were still not ready for every eventuality. A series of unfortunate events see their gear and supplies taken from them and as temperatures rise and vultures begin to circle, the chance of survival begins to fall rapidly.

It also available on Netflix for those those who subscribe.

Not a film I’ve watched yet, but I’ve heard good things.

Critics Say:
Fundamentally absurd yet as evocatively minimalist as its title, Fall is a sustained adrenaline rush for viewers willing to suspend disbelief. Read critic reviews

Audience Says:
As long as you don't go in expecting anything realistic, Fall is a solidly suspenseful B-movie done right. Read audience reviews

Regardless of the plot holes I haven’t been so filled with anxiety watching a movie for a very long time!

    Same

Amazing how opinions differ eh? Is it perfect? No. Are there holes in the plot? Sure. But I can't recall another recent small screen experience that created tension and anxiety for prolonged periods, especially when we could kinda guess the direction of travel. End of the day, you won't know unless you give it a go. And if you already have Netflix then it's risk free, unlike climbing a TV tower just for social media exposure.

I hope the marketing guys use the strapline "Twice the height, twice the chebs"

Very overrated film, dull and full of cinematic holes, don’t bother watching you’ll never get the wasted time back.

The best entertainment for some is when time feels like it is being wasted. You can have fun doing some hard labour if you wish.

spoiler alert *** if you don't want to know what happened don't read below ***

wasn't there a simpler solution than flying the drone to the diner with a note on it ? why didn't they just strap the 2nd mobile phone to the drone and lower it to the base of the tower where the phone had a signal ?

too many holes in this movie for me, at least I watched it on Netflix rather than pay £2.
    Aiadi's avatar
It is a work of fiction for entertainment and not an academic thesis to be so heavily analysed for holes! May be the phone was to heavy for the drone? Chill.

Great movie. Luckily I'm not one who analyses every micro second and can just take it for what it is. I've never felt so anxious watching a film, and actually screamed out loud at one point, to my kids amusement. As others have said, just watch it on Netflix if you can. (edited)

    Great, great film

Thought it was pretty good, slightly predictable but better than the usual garbage they make nowadays. (edited)

I had a feeling that there was a twist but I thought no it’s just a movie so might not be that realistic. It was ok a nice feeling of heights but I liked h the film the walk for the same reason. (edited)

I didn't think I was afraid of heights but this was slightly uncomfortable at times. Unexpected twist towards the end but it didn't really change the story much.
    Maverick77's avatar
Strangely I'm scared to death of heights but didn't find this at all scary. I remember the first time I watched cliffhanger, I could feel my palms sweating lol.

surprisingly good film, as i am terrified of heights. Nice twist near end too. Free to watch on Netflix

Similar approach to "127 hours" but better/more interesting (edited)
  24. wickjnr's avatar
127 hours was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards, nine BAFTAs, and six Oscars.

And you're saying this is better?
  25. HerefordCiderApples's avatar
    I watched this on Netflix
  26. RowanDDR's avatar
Watch the uncut version if you can. Theatrical release has all the swearing AI-dubbed out which dumbs down how the characters are feeling in certain situations. (edited)
  27. uog's avatar
Netflix are doing a sequel now
    Piranha_Plant's avatar
Not surprised… at the end when she falls straight into the floating portal to the Multiverse, it’s very open ended.
  28. dors01's avatar
It's not a bad movie, I definitely wasn't expecting the ending, the start off of the movie was a little cringe but after you get over that I think it's pretty good with a decent twist.
